Entreverde is absolutely beautiful. It is built In a way that really makes you feel like you are alone in the mountains, overlooking the ocean. We were delighted to spent 7 nights there while exploring Uvita, Osa, Dominacal, and Manuel Antonio. The place had everything we needed. The AC cools down bedrooms super fast, the pool is gorgeous, and the decks have amazing views. The host is absolutely delightful - she is incredibly responsive and goes out of her way to make the stay special. We had a little hiccup when we first arrived (not the host’s fault). Even though it was a bit late at night, she jumped in and helped sort it out. The only tips I’d give people visiting. 1) when you first arrive, try to get there while it is daylight. We came late at night and it is tricky to drive there for the first time in the dark. 2) get a 4x4, as the host suggests. The place is way up in the mountains. A few hills would be VERY hard to traverse without all wheel drive.

We spontaneously booked a last minute trip and had an amazing week here! We arrived just as the sun was setting over the Pacific beyond the treetops where howler monkeys and toucans greeted us with their calls. It was exactly what we were looking for - a lovely secluded spot nestled in the jungle near the coast. Communication and instructions were all very clear and proactive, and particularly accommodating given our last minute booking! We are already hoping to return again! And the trail in the backyard to the waterfall is simply an epic feature to have. As a biologist and a photographer who has been traveling to Costa Rica for 20 years, it was just perfect.

We had a wonderful family vacation here! Tom and Christine were wonderful hosts. They provided clear detailed instructions and communicated well with us, which was very important to me. It was very easy to find the meeting point. We really enjoyed meeting Tom. He was incredibly friendly and a pleasure to chat with. My daughter unfortunately had a small injury and developed an infection. Christine was very responsive, tried to help us find a farmacia or doctor to treat her. We were so grateful. I would highly recommend this place. We utilized the concierge service and booked a private chef for our first night as I knew I wouldn’t want to cook after traveling. Can’t say enough nice things about chef origins. Food and service was too notch!

Isabel's villa overlooking the rainforest was absolutely amazing. Amazing views over the lush rainforest valley while relaxing on the terrace or taking a shower was truly a unique experience. The house is very large and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Waking up to parrots and tucans sitting in the trees next to the house is the best way to start the day in Costa Rica. Isabel is always available and provided great recommendations including a little hike to the property's own little waterfall. Lots of beautiful beaches and close to Corcovado National Park it was the perfect accommodation for us. 100% recommended!

Truly a stunning home in a very quiet, upscale cul-de-sac community. Views were breathtaking, and the home well-equipped for lazy days without big agendas. Dominical is cute and inviting, with plenty to eat and a solid infrastructure for booking adventures of multiple varieties. Sensitive travelers might want to be advised that power and water outages are part of the realities of living in such a gorgeous, remote location. Mattresses are quite firm, with the loft bed probably best suited to a child or other floor-friendly individual. Kitchen was not particularly well-appointed, so bring oil/butter and perhaps even a favorite chef's knife if you plan to cook in. Local farmer's markets do make this an appealing option, although local restaurants were generally quite decent, even coming from NYC. Above all, this is a truly impressive holiday experience, mainly for the incredible views from all floors and the abundance of wildlife right in your own back-yard. Highly recommended.

Steve and Luanne’s home is incredible and I can’t say enough about how beautiful and welcoming the area is! The views, flora and fauna are amazing and their house in particular was well supplied, clean and welcoming. :)

Casa Cristal was the perfect start for our trip. The house was as described and it made us feel immensely at home. The kitchen was well equipped. The beauty was the natural surroundings and we enjoyed seeing Squirrel and Capuchin monkeys, as well as the beautiful blue butterfly. Communication with Fabian and Douglas was excellent and very helpful. Thank you so much. The cicadas and birds did their best, but sometimes the huge trucks won on the singing score.
