Beachfront holiday rental in Chora

This charming traditional house is a little gem. The decor is simple but there is everything you need and the atmosphere is very special. We immediately felt at home! The terrace overlooking the harbor is wonderful any time of day, the golden sandy beach is below the house and around the corner there is a fantastic cove for snorkeling with flat rocks and a ladder for easy access. Here everything is within walking distance: a small supermarket, a beach bar with great cold espresso coffee and a couple of taverns. To reach the Chora and admire the sunset there is a very convenient bus service. We recommend the boat ride with 'Nemo' that starts from the pier in front of the house and the Soulatzo bar in Chora for unforgettable aperitifs. Eva was very kind and always available.

We had a wonderful stay in this house which is very pleasant to stay in. It is the perfect house to recharge your batteries and it is located 20 meters from one of the most beautiful beaches on the island.

Christos is an amazing host, he personally greeted us and got us set up in the house and oriented to Ios. His house is beautiful and the setting is world class.

Eleni’s place is absolutely lovely. Even nicer in real life than the photos. My parents stayed in the separate room with en suite and my partner and l and our three young children (5 and two 1 year olds) shared the main house and it was perfect for us. Nice airy rooms and immaculately clean. The terrace is absolutely lovely - we never tired of the view. Eleni was such a good host - so accommodating as we waited to confirm our ferry times (they were not every day in May) and when our return ferry was cancelled. We followed her recommendations and had a lovely dinner at Kapari and lunch at Soulasto. We hiked to Episkopi and also visited the vineyard at sunset. We didn’t hire a car - relying on the reliable, if a little infrequent, bus service and occasionally a taxi. But mostly we walked the short distance to the beach which is lovely and perfect for children with its shallow waters and sand. We had such a good holiday and would highly recommend.

This home is a gem. We had the best stay here, the memory of which will last for a very long time. The location is perfect, the small private beach suited our family needs 100% and the easy access to the chora and port made it a fun stay for all. There are quite a few steps to get to the house, so only for those without mobility issues. But if the whole family is mobile, this is the place to be. We are very thankful for our stay and how well we were accommodated considering the size of our group. The style of the house and the art made it even more memorable. This is a home to return to!

Manganari is so great

Simply the best place to stay in Ios. It offers the best of both worlds: the privacy and comfort of a hotel, coupled with the personalized touch of private accommodation. From the moment you step inside, you feel like part of the family, with every need promptly attended to.

It was a great location. Amazing view from the shared front porch. Great location a short walk from Milopotas beach and Chora. The hostess that worked with us was great (Mrs Marrousa). She was kind, and when we took her up on her offer to ask for help, she was extremely helpful. Not only gave us recommendations of places to go, but even helped us get reservations for dinner and a day boat trip when we were having issues with it. The space itself is very minimal but it's all you need since you're spending most of your day at the beach or around town. AC made everything very comfortable. Tiny bathroom but did the job. And definitely go to Pathos for sunset. Totally worth it.

The most glorious of places, with views of the sea, perfect empty beaches with crystal clear waters. Lovely hosts and service throughout and the island itself is a hidden gem where you can totally escape the tourist track and find peace and tranquility. We’ll be back!

I would recommend this place to anyone coming to Ios. On a beautiful beach with amazing hosts. East to get back and forth to the town. 10/10 stay and I will return if I come back to Ios.

The bnb of Marousa and Antonis is the ultimate ideal location in Ios: if it weren’t for a couple buildings, you will be directly on the beach, one minute walking distance away. Spacious room and a huge veranda, comfy bed. Also a nice pool, and amazing food on sale made by the hosts. Not to miss: the Greek salad. I’ve never tasted olives of such unique taste. Best moment of the day: the early morning from the veranda, with the early boats, flying bees and chirping birds, framed by a luscious flowerbed on the canopy. A rare find.

Great location and very gentle host - we really loved our stay!

I was extremely pleased with my stay in Ios and George was a great host. He picked and dropped us off from the port which was extremely valuable provided the port is a good 20min walk from the accomodation. The accommodation provided everything we could need and was in a picturesque location with a nearby beach. Would 100% recommend for anyone looking to visit ios.

5 star is too little for the experience. Everything was perfect : all the small details that make a summer studio comfortable are thought of, everything was very nice and with a personal touch. Location is very serene next to a nice sandy beach without too many persons. Moreover Marita is the perfect host - true embodiment of Greek hospitality. Always there when you need her but also very discreet. Plus all the tips she gave us on the island were top!

Nice location by the beach and lots of restaurants in the area! The house itself was very nice and so was the outside area. Minna was a great host, she was very helpful. Would love to come back in the future :)

Great place to stay in Ios! Super convenient to port taking ferry to and from island and very easy to get anywhere else you need to go by bus. We were greeted at the port and walked to the place while given much info and recommendations! The place is fairly small and basic but is as described and has all you need :)

We had the most amazing time. The situation of the accommodation was perfect. Ios port is bustling but quiet. We loved the beach bars and restaurants. Everyone we met was so welcoming and friendly. We hired quad bikes & took a boat trip. It was affordable to eat out. We ventured up to the village for one night of partying. The contrast between the port and village is stark. Ios has a party reputation but it’s possible to have a very chilled beach holiday in the port area without ever having to be part of the party scene. The beaches are just stunning!

The location of the apartment is beautiful, with sea views and a beach within walking distance below the small road. The beach is quiet and beautiful. The apartment is fully renovated, nice, pleasant, well-equipped and comfortable with a beautiful airy terrace for eating. We loved the calm, the beauty of the place, the authentic aspect of the village, where you can eat very well. Argyris always responded promptly to our questions. We rented a small motorbike from Maria to get around, which is recommended because the island is all slopes and small roads. It was easy and enjoyable. Arrange a taxi to take you from the boat to the property on arrival. We dream of returning to this house!
