Dongchonjae is located in Seochon Village, very close to Gwanghwamun Square, the center of Gyeongbokgung Palace and Seoul. It consists of Anchae, Sarangchae, and Annex Room. Built in 1939, Dongchonjae It's not a fancy hanok. Seoul City and the government (Korea Tourism Organization) have recognized it as a traditional hanok. Dongchonjae has opened its home by a retired couple and has been operating since October 2020. Guests use 4 rooms, living room (Daecheongmaru), kitchen, 2 bathrooms (inside: shower available, outside: small but showerable), Numaru, and yard. The host lives in Sarangchae and provides breakfast and other services. The stars in the night sky are beautiful. On a clear day, you can see stars and fireflies. Jodong Rialps (campervans) have a tranquil and private relaxation that you can't enjoy as a regular car. There are no noisy people, There is no sound of cars, It's a healing space away from the noise of the world. Even in the early evening, the darkness settles down. The bedroom has been converted into a natural environment with cypress trees inside the car. On the spacious outdoor deck decorated with a living room version, you can also enjoy the content of YouTube & Netflix on the large screen after the barbecue.
