Corina and John were exceptionally welcoming,extremely knowledgeable on the area . such quiet and tranquil surroundings which was much needed coming from London for a lovely break. we can't wait to come back and stay again. The apartment exceeded our expectations beginning with the warm welcome in the parking garage by Gianluca who helped us park and who carried our bags up the two flights of steep stairs. It was a great surprise when we arrived to receive a bottle of local wine and an appetizer of focaccia and pesto as a welcome gift to celebrate our 20th anniversary! We felt right at home in the beautifully renovated apartment in the center of PV with an incredible water and harbor view. Gianluca answered all our questions quickly. He even replaced our iron with a brand new one when I mentioned ours didn’t work. After 10 nights in PortoVenere we hated to leave! We will be back!

Location, location, location! If you’re looking for a secluded, peaceful spot that’s still within walking distance to restaurants and beaches, this place is perfect. Virginia was a wonderful host—super responsive and thoughtful. She even got us a parking pass for our car, which was a huge help. The view is stunning, and the area is quiet with plenty of shade, plus a sunny area below if you want to soak up the sun. The full kitchen was a great bonus. The town itself is charming—quiet with lots of great restaurants. And the beach? Amazing. When you walk down from the house, head left of the port where the boats come in—that stretch is all soft sand with no rocks in the water. Highly recommend this stay!

In life there is no gain without pain! The pain is the access along a rough track…….but when you arrive at the oasis that is Casseta Bianca and met by Cristina and Sergio the gain is immeasurable! Although only 2 night there it was soooo relaxing. Sergio’s spoken English was near perfect and we talked about the property and area. This is THE place to stay for peace and quiet in a well appointed accommodation. We will be back.

The pride of the accommodation lies in the enchanting view it offers, unique as few in the area. The studio apartment has a kitchen in excellent condition and equipped with the necessary, microwave, Lavazza coffee machine with pods, comfortable sofa bed, TV with services. Very clean with a good level of general comfort. Please note, however, that the reserved parking space is located at the level of the SS Aurelia. The apartment, on the other hand, is subject to several tens of meters of height difference. It should be noted that there will be a good number of steps to be faced. The descent by car is possible, but the road, due to its size and winding nature, requires special attention and skill. Giancarlo is an affable, understanding, and helpful person, like few of the hosts I have met so far. It will make you feel at home and pampered. I'll definitely be back soon!
