Monthly Rentals in Cignano

Such a beautiful location, such a beautiful home. The views from inside the house and outside on the patios and in the yard were quintessential Tuscany, gorgeous beyond belief. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes and flatware and pots and pans. The furnishings were tasteful and plentiful. We were a group of four women. One of us slept upstairs in the area just off the front door. Just a note: one of our party did not do stairs very well, and just so you know, all of the bedrooms on the lower level have doors that open onto the patio area, which is right next to the driveway. So after the first day, when we figured all that out, she was able to reduce the number of stairs she had to climb to a minimum. She would climb up to the kitchen and the living room area when we were gathering, but there was a bathroom and shower on the main level and whenever we went out to the car, she just came out that way, & one of the others of us would lock the door and run upstairs to leave.

Place was as described. The house was in pristine condition when we check in. Nested in a quite and peaceful countryside, it was exactly what we wanted. Parking was just a few meters from the main door. Host Patrizia was very friendly and responded to my questions promptly. Her check in instructions were clear and we found the place easily. A short drive from local attractions and wineries, it is a good launch point to tour the region.

Samanta & Franco are outstanding hosts with a magnificent property. The house is beautiful, authentic and pristine. It is everything you hope a Tuscan hideaway would be. Nestled in the heart of Tuscany, it is private and peaceful and comfortable. Samanta and Franco are so generous with their time and knowledge of the area and every recommendation they gave us was amazing. Their vineyards and gardens are breathtaking. And although it was not warm enough to swim, we enjoyed sitting by their gorgeous pool and watching the sunset over the rolling hills of Tuscany. A highlight was the homemade pizza dinner Samanta arranged. The nearby small town of Castellina is amazing.and from Podere Ferrale (the name of their property) we visited Florence, Sienna and San Gimignano as well as other vineyards. The only thing to mention is that like every villa in Tuscany, the property is at the end of a dirt road. Very manageable but something to be aware of. I would HIGHLY recommend this property.
