The gardens were a wonderfully peaceful respite. It was like taking a vacation while on vacation. The room was great, as described, and even had a dehumidifier available. The property is away from the city (we were able to Uber in and out of the city without too much issue - just a delay in finding a driver one night. We loved exploring and having our morning coffee in the gardens. We didn’t meet Phil, and we weren’t able to get a gate opener for our stay, but it worked out OK with two of us (one to drive the car and the other to get out and operate the gate).

Mainor was super nice to us, we arrived with 5 young people and he offered to be our adoptive dad so I think we got along well. He even offered us a bottle and suggested activities, I really recommend it! Thank you so much for this stay!!!

The best place we've visited in SJ! The place was clean when we arrived. Check-in was easy. Indoor parking is ideal in these rainy seasons. The place is perfectly equipped. Having 1 and 1/2 bathrooms is super convenient. It will definitely become our #1 in East SJ.

I had a great stay in San José. The house was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and in a convenient location. Check-in was smooth, and the host was very responsive and quick to resolve any issues that came up during my stay. It was a perfect base for exploring the city and surrounding areas. I’d definitely stay here again.

We were seduced by this magnificent house with old charm. Interior decorated simply and tastefully. The house has everything you need. Please note that the parking space is not suitable for large cars. We recommend this beautiful place and will definitely return!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Marcelo’s place. We only stayed a couple of nights. Wishing we had more time there. The place is very nice and well furnished and decorated. Very quiet neighborhood. Lots to do in the area, including dining and shopping. We Will definitely stay again when we are back in town.

I have stayed here before and always come back - the apartment is perfect - fast WiFi and easy to get everywhere in the San Jose area. I use Uber while in CR and the location is perfect - Uber always available quickly. The host is always available and quick to respond to any question and recommendations… As they say - she has very positive energy and is a pleasure to work with on any request. Great place to stay in SJO. Something simple and laidback.

This was an amazing place to stay and explore San Jose. The staff at URBN Escalante were very helpful, and the view from the balcony was breathtaking. The amenities in the building were also great!

Booked this last minute and excellent communication. The place is newer and has great restaurants on the street level . Awesome pool and even better 21st floor to rooftop where you can spend the morning relaxing or wind down in the evening ! Check in was a breeze. The cooking facilty was awesome. Close to city but far enough to be away from the hustle n bustle

In fact, without asking for help, he was already giving me instructions to facilitate my arrival and of course we loved the place. He welcomed us with a gift👌🏻. Beautiful apartment and beautiful views of the city especially at night. Not having AC wasn't even a problem there are plenty of fans and windows with a cool breeze coming in from being up to high.

The apartment is in a new modern building with multiple elevators, great parking space, great views of the city. 24 hours security, clean all around, friendly people very quiet and an attendant super host. The condo is a spacious two bedrooms apartment with television in every room. Master bedroom with walk in closet and big bathroom. Second bedroom also very nicely decorated. I will rent this place again if I return back to Costa Rica.
