The church is nestled within a tranquil olive grove which made it easy to relax and disconnect from the stressors of the big city. Roberto was absolutely incredible and I cannot give higher praise—he is truly the standard when it comes to hosts. He was attentive, responsive to any issues, and helpful to solve any difficulties that we had with travel arrangements. It’s easy to see why this property is in such high demand. It was my first time staying in Tuscany and Roberto’s church is already calling me back for another stay! Most highly recommended.

Fantastic location with fantastic views from the balcony over the village, mountains and forests. A typical old Tuscan house, modern inside and newly renovated. Great excursion tips, adapted to the temperature and family with dog. On the first arrival, we would recommend buying one before, as it takes about 20 minutes to drive to the next larger store. Curvy narrow mountain road but tarred and little traffic. Roby is very likeable, helpful and not intrusive. House and location highly recommended. A place where you can forget the time. We will definitely come back again.

First of all, it should be emphasized that Fabio is a wonderful, courteous and helpful host. The house is lovingly and stylishly furnished. The village is nestled in the heart of the Garfagnana mountains and, together with its surroundings, it is an oasis of tranquility. From Bagni di Lucca, a 7 km long, narrow, winding road leads to Lugnano-Monti di Villa. On the route, you will pass 2 more small villages. One of them is Granaiola, where you can eat super delicious food at Laura's. We will be happy to come back :-) Anne and Helga

We had an amazing stay at Paolo’s house. The home has been beautifully renovated with great attention to detail and high-quality materials. The only downside during the summer is that it can get quite hot inside, especially due to the veranda windows. However, the evening breeze makes the nights very pleasant.

This was the best place we stayed on our Italy trip! The region is so unique, with winding mountainous roads, lush forest, and ancient buildings. The property was very clean, with all the amenities you need to have a comfortable stay. The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom was renovated and spacious, and the view was magnificent! Lindie was a fantastic host, very responsive and gave us very useful recommendations for the local restaurant and hiking trails nearby. Highly recommend staying here if you want a unique experience in the mountains!!
