Country Living in a Forest Setting

Come stay in your own cozy, rustic mini apartment, a little over 25 minutes from the Portland suburbs, and about 45 minutes from downtown Portland. Our home sits on two wooded acres. You'll have a private deck, private bathroom, private entrance, and private living space. There is a queen bed in the bedroom and a futon/sofa in the living area that makes a twin-size bed. Check-in time is after 4 pm. Early check-in is possible, just contact us. No Smokers! One pet on approval, up to 45lbs.

Tiny House Guest Cottage one mile off 213 near Marquam. Remote, yet accessible. 10 minutes from Mt. Angel and Molalla. 15 minutes from Silverton. 18 minutes from Oregon Garden. Loft with King size bed and luxurious sheets. Two sofas downstairs can be converted into beds. Not suitable for children. For whatever brings you to Oregon, stay at Mama J’s comfortable, peaceful, safe and convenient spot. Portland is just ten miles away, the closest beaches, Columbia River Gorge and Mt. Hood are all about an hour, and there are numerous hikes from the forest right down the street to Silver Falls and beyond. 150 ft. walk down a steep driveway takes you to a unique private little studio with everything an adventurous spirit needs. You must be in physically good shape to handle this location. We have friendly dogs you may see outside, and we do not allow pets. SE Portland is a 30 min drive and downtown Portland a 45 min drive. One hour to Mt. Hood, 40 min to waterfalls in the Columbia Gorge. Pool open June 15 through September 5th.

The Woodlands Hideout

The Woodlands Hideout is a small intentional semi-offgrid retreat space, featured on Dwell. It was designed and built by Further Society and created to allow guests to immerse in the beauty of the natural world, but still offer some cozy and more essential comforts. Although the footprint of the space is small, we designed the experience to be outward focussed, so it feels very expansive with the towering pine trees in view.
