We’ve been looking for options close to Tulsa for launching our kayaks, and wanted to check out Oologah lake. Jonathan’s place was a delightful find close to the marina and public landings. The Memorial Day weather had other plans for us, so instead we enjoyed a cozy stay. The 2nd story covered porch was the ideal spot for a rainy morning with coffee (bonus points for the dual function coffee maker!) Claremore is a quick 10 minute drive from the house with plenty of dining options. We definitely felt like we had a getaway, but still super close to home! Will definitely return to the area this summer!

Kathy thought of everything you might want or need and the little touches like eye masks and shower loofahs showed how much she cares about her guests! This dome was absolutely wonderful!! It was not far from town but still seemed very private. The fire pit by the pond was probably our favorite. We sat there each night looking at the stars and enjoying the sounds of nature. We will definitely be back!! Such a nice little weekend getaway! There is nothing I would change about it. I’ve already recommended Dome Vista to my friends. Loved every minute!

The Cardinal Cabin is where rustic charm meets modern comforts. The cabin was spotless and comfortably furnished, including a well-appointed kitchen. Everything we needed for an enjoyable, stress-free stay was provided. The abundance of birds serenade the morning while the crickets and frogs welcome the evening. A beautiful mother fox and her kits frolicking around the property provided some fun wildlife watching. There are neighbors close by; however, everyone was friendly and respected the sanctity of the peaceful area. Brittany is a wonderful host who provided a wealth of information on the ins-and-outs of the property, things to do in the area and dining options. She made sure we felt right at home. We will definitely stay at Cardinal Cabin in the future!
