Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Clarion County

David’s property is amazing and definitely a unique experience. The view of the Clarion River is incredible and the secluded neighborhood is extremely quiet. The deck is super functional and grills and a patio heater were welcome. Even though I think we were the first renter, everything was thought of and the host is clearly experienced. We greatly enjoyed competing for high score on the vintage pinball machine. Highly recommended and one of a kind!!

This is our third stay! We stayed in the colder months and couldn’t wait to stay in June. It rained Friday night but that did not dampen our spirits as we sat under the pavilion and had a great fire going! Saturday was a gorgeous day! We cooked steaks and veggies, another great fire! We told Randy how clean this farmhouse always is, that is so important to us. Randy gave us the history of the farm, he is third generation and is very proud of his piece of land!!! We had coffee on the back deck, I have the Merlin bird app and tracked 12 different birds! Had a bunny friend eating clover by the front door. No deer 🦌 sightings which we had hoped to see. We are going to plan a stay in October, that is how much we love it here! If you want peace and to relax, this farmhouse is the place to do it!

Absolutely amazing restoration of a home built over 120 years ago. All the charm of an historic home was preserved without sacrificing contemporary expectations. The entire home was spotless and just as the photos represented. We fully enjoyed our brief time spent in Clarion and are hoping we can stay in this amazing location next time we return.

Diane and Eric are absolutely incredible. There’s a sign above the front door that says “ arrive as guests leave as friends” I think. Lol but it should say “ arrive as guests and leave as family” I missed my wife and kids every day as I stayed out here for months for work, and their hospitality alone and type of people they are made me feel at home. They are truly great people and I’m blessed to have met them, and gained a family out here being 8hrs away from home. When I come back out here next year to finish work I will be staying here again!!!

Great little cabin with beautiful river views. We enjoyed meals on the deck and swimming off the dock!

One of the best stays on our trip. The hosts were wonderful and the apartment was beautiful. So many amenities to mention: private patio overlooking pasture, beautiful shower and luxurious king bed, well stocked kitchen and numerous snacks and drinks. It was a perfect relaxing space for our week.

This was the second time we stayed here, and it was just as we had experienced the first time- wonderful! Clean, beautiful unit that was very comfortable and the owners were very responsive, proactive and helpful. We will definitely stay again!

This is an awesome stay for a quick weekend! We were in town to see family, and it was perfect for us. Check out instructions do require the renter to strip the beds, take out trash, etc - but this is pretty standard.

Here’s the headline: Perhaps the nicest Airbnb I have stayed in, especially at this price point - if you’re coming to Clarion with 1-2 people, look no further. Michael’s place is tastefully appointed with a fabulous, clean bathroom (the shower is amazing) and a cute kitchen with dishwasher. The bedroom is sizable with a great mattress - we slept wonderfully. The living room is comfortable and has a nicely sized television with access to your favorite streaming apps (for any downtime). The location is easily walkable to all of charming downtown Clarion, and a short drive to beautiful hiking trails in the area. I will make it a point to return to Michael’s place when I’m back in the area.
