Bike to the Med for a swim, or head inland to the mountains. Or stay put. Claviers square is five minutes on foot, has three lovely restaurants, two bars, a boulangerie and a shop. There's a new pool for cooling off, too.

Sofitel MyBed queen size bed under large Vélux to watch the stars, fully equipped kitchen, private terrace and absolute calm in a fully renovated 17th century farmhouse. Linen provided, very bright, large screen TV — everything for a soothing and rejuvenating stay alone or for two.
