Welcome to The Hideout! Stunning mountain views envelop this private mountaintop escape. Located just a few miles west of downtown Franklin and near the Appalachian Trail, this secluded retreat offers privacy in a wooded setting perfect for your next escape to the mountains. Guest suite is on the lower level of our split level home with separate entrance, private bath, and huge outdoor deck for watching the abundant forest wildlife and taking in the views. Amazing Mountain View Tiny House Pet Friendly

The spacious Tiny Home is just four miles from Lake Chatuge, features a 5 mile walking trail beside the lake the TVA Dam. The Tiny House overlooks amazing views of Pinnacle Peak Mountains and the Nantahala National Forest above Shooting Creek. The mountains are so close you can almost touch them. The Appalachian Trail is accessible nearby. Enjoy this lovely romantic spot in nature. We are Pet Friendly, and ask that you reach out prior to booking to ensure we're a good fit.

Enjoy an evening dinner with a fire table for warmth and ambience. If you prefer to go out, the small town of Murphy is about 15 minutes away, where you can enjoy dining and shopping. This is a great location to start exploring the many hiking trails and waterfalls in the area.

The Willow is a slice of paradise on the Valley River. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful riverfront property. Large green space for cornhole, tossing the football, and general merriment. Splash, swim or just float around in the river. Take a nap on the the waterfront deck to the sounds of the river and birds. Enjoy some time in downtown shops, restaurants, and breweries as well. World class whitewater rafting on the Ocoee and Nantahala are just minutes away.

Owl's Nest Retreat with Fishing

Nestled in the mountains of Hayesville NC you will find Owl’s Nest. A perfect retreat for 2 people, this one bedroom one bath apartment is located in the upper story of a large barn (no worries, as there are no animals below) . (Dry storage for motorcycles.) For those who love to fish there is a 2 acre stocked fishing pond with bass, catfish, sunfish & more (catch and release only), as well as approx 250’ of creek frontage on Tusquittee Creek for trout fishing.

We just added a new deck. Come enjoy the peace and quiet of mountains. There is fishing, white water rafting, golf and wineries. John Campbell Folk School is close by with music and classes. We are surrounded by mountain bike trails. We have added a bike wash and bikes can be stored inside. Come visit our 3 bedroom/ 3 bathroom cabin: 1 King Bed, 2 Queen Beds, 1 Twin Bed and 1 futon. Located on the NC end of Hayesville. About 100 yds to the water. Our 2 Game rooms equipped with: Ping Pong Table (No beer pong allowed), Air Hockey and vintage 90's Arcade console with over 100 games. 3 smart Roku tv's and fire pit for evening s'mores and gas grill. Please note this is an older wood cabin in a small town with the woods right in our yard.
