Holiday rentals with a kayak in Clay Township

As soon as we booked I knew we picked the right place. Doreen was very responsive, friendly, and helpful. Her home was not only beautiful and spotless, she also took the time to add special touches (a banner, balloons, and a card) for my sister’s bachelorette party. The house had everything we needed, easy instructions posted throughout the house, comfortable beds with clean linens, and such a beautiful view and outdoor area. There was plenty of space to hangout even with a large group. All the woman raved about the place and said that they would come back again to stay there. We all loved it! Check in and check out was easy. We don’t run into a single issue. Doreen messaged a few days before with a few local things happening in the area and asked if we needed anything special before our arrival. You can tell Doreen takes pride in her home and truly wants her guests to have the most enjoyable experience.

We really enjoyed our stay. The road to get in could have been a little better but it wasn’t that big of a deal. The only problem we had was the weather and there’s nothing you can do about that. We will definitely come back.

We rented this cottage with our friends to spend weekends. We had a really great time there. The cottage is very cozy and clean. Also there was all essential supplies in washrooms and kitchen. Hot tub works good and place is very quiet. We enjoyed our time and definitely will come back.

Great place to stay on the island!

I have the best experience of my life at the lake house. It was my birthday and it’s always the coldest month of the year but this made it the best birthday Ive ever had. Beautiful inside and we spend to much time in the hot tub that was my highlight because I’m anemic and never felt warm and the beauty of the lake and lights at night was perfect.

8 of us stayed after a day of golf. Great fire pit and place to stay. Katherine was extremely responsive.

Our stay at this beautiful airbnb home was very comfortable for our group of 6 women. We had plenty of space to be comfortable in every room. The kitchen was compatible for our needs as we enjoyed meal preparations for all our meals including breakfast lunch and dinner. We especially enjoyed the view of the beautiful lake with the many boats, ferries and we were lucky to witness a sighting of a cruise ship. The area seemed very upscale. We were blessed with good weather for the weekend so we were able to enjoyed sitting outside on the patio watching the boats. I would definitely recommend this place. If I plan to return to this area I would likely book another stay in this beautiful home. Thank you Mariam and Amir for your hospitality.

Jackie was an amazing host and I loved all the details she added to the place. We never needed to ask for a thing during our stay it was so nicely stocked. She even had a thoughtful gift for us in the refrigerator for our anniversary. ❤️

Ryan and Dee's home is phenomenal. It was pristine, and looked even more beautiful in person than in the photos. I feel comfortable saying that the inside was the cleanest, most organized AirBnB we have ever stayed at. The view from the yard, magnificent. My husband and I stayed for a 4-day weekend, and we brought our doggie with is. It is a great neighborhood to go out on walks, or to sit by the lake and look at ducks and geese float by. Ryan and Dee were also incredibly communicative, responding to questions before the trip, and checking in during the trip. I cannot recommend this place enough! We had the perfect weekend at Belle River -- can't wait to go back!

Tom is a great host and pays attention to details. He is very helpful no matter your needs. The cottage is perfect if you want to get on the lake quickly or just hang out on the deck. The interior is clean and very comfortable. Tom provides some amenities that others don’t.

It’s a very nice place to stay, right on the water with beach access from the backyard. The cottage is very comfortable and has absolutely everything you need. I like to cook and there was a great selection of everything you need to make use of the kitchen and feel right at home. The beds were also very comfortable. The view was lovely, and the environment very quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend it!

Awesome place with great boat trailer parking.

Amy and Beau’s place was incredible. We were able to take the kayaks out and paddle out to the bridge. We also enjoyed the comfortable accommodations—especially the beds. A fire pit at night completed the weekend. We will definitely be back!!

Had an amazing time here. The place was beautiful and clean and well kept. Surprised at all the wildlife on the property with the fish, birds. Trevor was very responsive and great at answering all our questions in a timely mannor. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and tools which was a plus as we forgot to bring some things but it was not a probelm. Another plus was how quiet the rooms were where we did not have to worry everyone waking up our 10 month old.

My friends and I had an awesome stay at this cottage. The place was cute and fit a lot of people despite not being huge. Everything was in order and ready to go. It was exactly what we needed!

Jeff was an awesome host, he responded patiently and quickly to all of our questions and requests. The property presents better in person than in the pics, and the fishing on the Clinton River right behind the house was phenomenal ( an unexpected extra) .
