Family-friendly holiday rentals in Clayton

Peaceful, gorgeous view, and wonderful deck with fire pit, hammock, and hot tub!! All a person needs! Love the master bedroom with the sitting area and personal deck. Very clean and lots to do in the area and felt safe too! Would love to come back!

The view is incredible! We enjoyed early morning soaks in the hot tub overlooking the Smoky Mountains. The carpenter bees were a nuisance on the porch the first day, but they seemed to settle in after that, and didn’t bother us. Our Hyundai sonata (front wheel drive) made it up to the cabin but the drive is much easier with four wheel drive. The home was clean and there was absolutely no musty smell that I’ve noticed in a few cabins in the past. The town of Bryson city was super close and very cute to walk around or stop for lunch. Highly recommend!

617 - 619 We had a very good time here! The bed was very comfy even though the tv was on one Channel lol. The jacuzzi was Very nice and relaxing. We reccomend going to the tuskasegee animal Farm and petting zoo. super cute goats and Sheep especially Lola!

This cabin is SO cozy, quiet, peaceful and private! It was the perfect place for me to stay for my work trip (I'm a photographer), and the location was so wonderful. (: I sat on the porch to watch the storms roll by and to look at the beautiful mountains! Even saw some deer one morning; so special! I also really LOVED how big the driveway is. It's hard to turn around my truck (it's older and harder to see out of with my camper shell), but I had no problem at all turning around, which was a huge plus for me. The bed was super comfy, and I just had a super restful time! I'd love to stay here again at some point! 🥹🖤 Thank you Joni for such a great stay!

This place was so peaceful and relaxing. We stayed on the dock or around the fire pit. Mornings were spent drinking coffee on the deck with the gorgeous lake views. Never even turned the TV on. The house was clean and well stocked. There’s lots to do in the area as well. Definitely will be back.

Such a beautiful cottage! It was small, but it felt roomy and had great outdoor space. Thoughtful touches inside like a welcome note, wine glasses and a variety of coffee, teas and cocoa. It was an easy drive to Helen and the hot tub and fire place were wonderful!

We would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to friends. I love that the place is very private. There was plenty of room for me and my husband and our four teenagers. It was close to Helen.

Everything as expected. Back porch with view the best! Didn’t use tv instead stayed on back porch and visited with family.

The cabin was perfect for our family to get away from the business of life. It was super close to Tallulah State Park, which was beautiful, and restaurants in Clayton. We loved having a fire each night as well.

Wonderful time in this home, tons of space and close to everything downtown. Lovely location with a peaceful dock to sit out for coffee. Home was comfortable and everything was as described. Thanks again!

We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. Location was great and the deck over the river's edge was wonderful. Only suggestion we would have is a vacuum for the cabin versus just a broom. Rate was great and we will be back.

We loved it! Charming, cozy and clean. Loved sitting on the porch, watching hummingbirds feed. The whole family enjoyed exploring the beautiful yard. Perfect place!

Had a great week and a half at Rick's place. Felt right at home as soon as we walked in. Very clean and comfortable. The grounds are amazing! So peaceful and perfect for sitting out on the porch! Morning coffee out there was the best! And great for a quiet happy hour after a day of hiking. We went either hiking or 'exploring' every day. Hike down around the lake is a great place to get a good workout in. About 3 1/2 mikes aroind. Climbed the 665 steps up to the top of Amicolola Falls! Beautiful park and falls. Cooked most of our meals in, kitchen had everthing we needed. As one or two other guests mentioned, if you're there to watch TV or use the internet, reception is not good, but we only cared to watch some news in the morning before we left for most of the day. Came back, ate dinner, sat on the porch, read for awhile and hit the hay. Slept great! PS- Rick is a fast and great comminicator.

I wish I could keep this place a secret because of how incredibly beautiful and secluded it is. You feel like you’ve stepped into a fairy tale, and Hal’s unique touches make the place inviting and special all at the same time. Our trip was filled with rainy weather, but there’s something magical about sitting by the tabletop fire pit on the screened in porch while watching the rain and the river flow by. This is the first airbnb I’ve ever stayed where I knew I wanted to come back.

This was a wonderful long weekend destination! The home was beautiful, clean, and well stocked with linens and kitchen essentials. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Great location! Small cozy guest house. Parking spot was tight for our large 2500 but we made it work. Recommendations were great.

The Lake house was one of the quietest and most peaceful air b-and-b's we have stayed at. The new back deck is the highlight of the lake cabin. The rest of the cabin is fully equipped and functional, but we hardly left the back deck. With its fenced in area and gate was perfect for the dog. The kayaks and dock are a nice addition. It is located close to good dining at Micas restaurant and Whiteside brewery. We came for the hiking in Panthertown area. We will be back again.

This is my second time staying at this fantastic spot, and it was just as great as the first. They are wonderful hosts, the place is a real hidden gem, and the community has so much to offer. It certainly won't be my last time here!

An excellent spot for enjoying the Nantahala National Forest, as well as having ample room and accomodations for guests and vehicles.

Our family of 5 couples and 2 small children loved our stay at Sunsets and Siestas. The home has lots of space, the family suite was a big hit, the master suite is beautiful and spacious, the kitchen very well appointed and the decks, patios are excellent. We used the boat slip including the lift as well as the kayaks and paddleboards. The home had everything we needed and then some. We would definitely return.

The space was very spacious and clean. The back porch was so peaceful. Sandy was very friendly and helpful. We had everything we needed.

Wonderful place to stay with family and friends. Great kitchen with all the necessities to cook with while you’re there! Plenty of pantry and storage space to bring your own food. Definitely follow their GPS instructions and address they give you in separate email. It gets dark out there so keep that in mind when arriving. Minutes away from WCU and beautiful gated community We will be back!

We love this Creekside Cottage! Pam has everything you need there and we love to shop at the market, come back, cook and sit by the creek. We are very comfortable in this cottage and we will use again.
