The Ranch House

Our large Ranch House can comfortably accommodate 8-14 guests. It features three bedrooms, four beds and can provide an additional queen sized air mattress for your convenience. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and all your essential cooking necessities. The house provides a large living room for family games, a desk for those traveling for business, family dining room and washer and dryer. This beautiful property overlooks a neighboring vineyard and sits next door to our Stonehouse Cellars winery. We are open for tastings seven days a week so please be sure to schedule your private tasting. We are happy to accommodate your party outside of tasting room hours for overnight guests. Wine club members receive preferential room rates and room availability. The property also features a shared pool, hot tub, large patio for BBQing, and kegerator (byob). The entire property is approximately 145 acres of secluded countryside. Guests are encouraged to hike the property, explore the vineyard, bbq, picnic or just lounge around in the hammock. Enjoy your private rustic getaway while sipping on a glass of our wine by the pool. We look forward to having you as a guest!

Country main house set in the middle of vineyards. Our property is on seven acres, you’re surrounded by vineyard, olive and Walnut trees. Excellent getaway from the city with friends. The star gazing is amazing. We come up regularly between renters and are completely involved with the upkeep of the house and grounds. The house is just a short drive from Kelseyville and the town of Lakeport. Just minutes from the lake and area wineries. Walking distance to The Mercantile tasting room!

It is in a beautiful location, and the apartment was relaxing and well-appointed. There is a very peaceful garden/patio area that is available for all the guests. There is more than adequate free parking. There are several great places to eat. Studabakers, across the street, has the best coffee in town. For breakfast, I recommend the Everything Bagel with lox. My husband prefers the breakfast burrito. They also make takeaway sandwiches, which we took to the state park for a walk and picnic by Clear Lake.

"The Study" at the Studios in Kelseyville was a great place to stay! I was there in the middle of a heat wave (110deg!) and the airconditioned studio was a wonderful respite. The fenced in courtyard was lovely, and if it wasn't so hot, I can imagine it would be great place to hang out. I may go back next time I',m in the area!

If you want a smooth and friendly AirBnB experience in Lake County, California this is the place to stay. Ed and LaVerne are excellent hosts. They were gracious, friendly, and wonderful to engage with. Additionally, I love listening to stories and history. Ed and Laverne didn't disappoint (thank you for your service Ed and thank you LaVerne for your food tips). To the other end, when it was time to enjoy the privacy of the apartment, they were very concientious and did not disturb me one bit (but made it clear I could reach out by text if I needed anything). So, whether you want complete privacy or engagement with your hosts, both options are available here. It was an awesome stay.

Great communication from host. Basic accommodations, but clean and comfortable. The place has a nice looking outside kitchen and pool area that I didn’t really get to use because we were out fishing all day. Plenty of space to park a bass boat which was perfect because we were there for a bass tournament.
