Lake house holiday rentals in Clemson

Three generations and our dog had a great stay at Portman’s Paradise. It was perfect for our group size. The accommodations were exactly as shown in the photos and the home was clean and spacious. The loft room was a great additional space to relax. The view was beautiful. When the power went out in the neighborhood, the host was quick to reach out and let us know, keep us updated and was responsive to answer our questions.

The home and setting is absolutely perfect. We came from KY, NY, SC and Spain to celebrate Christmas in a rare opportunity with family. We were fortunate to bring our two fur babies (don’t leave home without them) and enjoy the short stay for this occasion. Anytime here is a good time to unwind and relax.

The house was beautiful and had plenty of space for the whole family. The bunk room was a hit with the kids as well. Our whole stay was incredible and will definitely keep this property in mind for any future rental needs.

Home was better than expected, absolutely beautiful. Great location, steep walk to the dock but typical for this area. Home had all the extras. Lori was helpful and provided an air pump for our tube.

“Gone Fishin” is an amazing property 🙌 From the moment you walk up to the front porch it’s evident that lots of love went into this home. It’s beautiful inside and outside and has everything you could ever need. Kenny & Carol are wonderful hosts and very responsive and helpful. We were in town for a wedding and they offered recommendations & assisted with questions we had about the area. The property is exactly like the pictures & description. Do not miss out on this peaceful oasis!

The moment we pulled in one of our grandsons ran to swing out on the lake via a low hanging rope tied to a tree and the other ran down with his fishing pole. In a flash they were kayaking all over the lake, talking with friendly neighbors and enjoying the playful local otter. We adults enjoyed the peaceful tranquility of our surroundings from the various outdoor seating areas. Once inside the home, we were grateful to see that it was not only tastefully appointed and immaculate, but also had all sorts of thoughtful additions like Kleenex, throw blankets, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion and even extra propane for the fire table! From start to finish we enjoyed every minute! We did not eat out, because we did not want to waste time away from the house / lake. Very unusual for this family. However, there were a couple excursions to water falls, fishing in a river and wandering briefly in the town of Highland, NC. We all look forward to visiting again in the fall!

Perfect house for a get away with the family. Great views of the water and the open kitchen which was very conducive for family meals. The owners were very responsive to any questions I had during our stay. Highly recommended for families visiting Clemson. Will definitely try to come back for another stay.

We rented Michael's house for a weekend kayaking trip on Lake Jocassee. The house is absolutely lovely and the location inside the state park was perfect. Michael is a very responsive, considerate host. I've already booked our next stay!

Pictures don’t do this home justice. The lake, the grounds and the home are STUNNING and so peaceful. We were blessed to spend 8 days here and only left the property one time to grab more groceries. The home is well-appointed with everything you could possibly need during your stay. And Monica is not only extremely responsive, thoughtful and accommodating, but also very kind and easy to deal with. If a getaway from the hustle and bustle is what you’re looking for, there’s literally nothing you’ll be left wanting if you choose this location. It’s clean. It’s quiet. It’s beautiful! It’s relaxing.

Great cabin! We enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle board which were easy to launch at the boat ramp down the street. Home had much more space than we thought which was a nice plus. Owners are very responsive and also provided good recommendations. The home is near (15-20 minutes) from Harbor Light Marina which is convenient for renting boats on Lake Hartwell. Awesome experience for my family of 6!

Loved the place. Quiet and peaceful home. The lake is right behind and even has an access to a private beach through a trail. Scott was very attentive and helpful. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you!!!

Wonderful long weekend family stay for 7 adults and 3 children. Quiet area of Lake Keowee. Everyone enjoyed the kayaks, paddle board, hot tub, ping pong table and the views. Well equipped kitchen and plenty of room for all. Would definitely book again.

The place was beyond perfect. Me and my family plan to see come again in the summer. Dave was super friendly and helpful whenever we had a question. There was everything we needed. Overall super great, would absolutely recommend We loved it!

We stayed at the Keowee Luxury Lake Cottage for 10 days. It is in a great location. The Marina is right next door, so it was easy to rent a boat (they offer a discount for people who rent a cottage). The lake is beautiful, the cottage very comfortable and the host was super responsive to any question. We would definitely stay here again!

This was our 2nd time staying here. We love it! Plenty to do for the kids. Clean, private & super fun being just a few steps from the beautiful lake. This definitely will be a family favorite lake house to rent for many trips to come. Thank you for everything!

We had a fabulous week at your lake house! the house was perfect for our 3 generations. The game room and beds upstairs was the secret hide away for grand kids. the bedrooms were extra spacious and cozy. living space great. tops was the double deck at the lake. We were gifted with new fishing poles, floats, and corn hole game. Could not have been a more pleasant home. kitchen so organized, and clean. immediate response to any questions. loved the book choices throughout the house. We had warm greating and note for a blessed week, and blessed week it was!

We were there for a work trip and it was a very comfortable place to stay. Clean, quiet and relaxing. Will definitely stay again!

We chose this house to spend Christmas, and it was the best choice we could make. They waited for us in a beautiful, warm, decorated house that we enjoyed from the first moment to the last. It has everything you need to have a good time! A games room, very comfortable beds, impeccable decoration and ambiance, beautiful places for outdoor beds, and a volleyball court and a tree hammock for children and adults to enjoy! We will be back soon.

Dustin's lake cabin was amazing. It was the perfect size for 2 people. The screened in porch was a great place to spend time watching and listening to wildlife. We used the paddle boat and kayaks. The fire pit was the perfect place to end the night. It is close to hiking and restaurants. I would definitely come back again!

Nick was a fantastic communicator from day 1. He was responsive, answered questions, and was helpful in order to make our stay enjoyable. He went above and beyond to make our stay hospitable, from the wine, to the coffee bar setup, to the abundance of linens. He has not cut corners in making his airbnb a welcoming stay.
