Located in Domptail, a small village in "Les Vosges" in the heart of the Lorraine region. Quiet and relaxing place in the countryside. Closed to tourist places such as the Baccarat crystal factory, Luneville and its castle, Gerardmer and its lake, Saint-Die, Epinal or Nancy. Marie and Gabrielle, your hosts, are from the village and will be happy to advise you on things to do in the area. I bought a farmhouse in 2007 to turn it into a vacation rental house. After 3 years of renovation work it finally came together and the result is better than I ever dreamed of. I'm very proud of myself for this accomplishement. I would be very happy to welcome you in the house and I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time. Price shown is for the whole house per night or per week for up to six people. Minimum stay is 7 nights, arrival and departure on Saturdays only. Electricity will be charged separately based on consumption. Tourist tax 0.80€/day/adult. This was our first Airbnb experience. We only spent one night at the hosts', the access instructions were clear. The accommodation is well-equipped, TV with packages, pellet stove, necessary for cooking, plates, cutlery, glasses, refrigerator, oven and microwave, coffee machine,..... even salt and oil are provided. The toilet is separate from the bathroom. We went there during a heat wave, the thickness of the walls of the building provides a good coolness. To sum up, good communication, spacious accommodation, very good value for money.

The accommodation was really beautiful, everything new, modern renovated. the water pressure in the shower was very low... that was a bit annoying. Also, a large table instead of the bar would have been better for us as a family with a child. but still everything was very clean. very individual with a view of the brewery, where we received a private tour from the host. in the village itself there is not much but the surroundings are very beautiful, you can certainly hike well. you are quickly in epinal. just the thing for a cozy family weekend.
