Monthly Rentals in Clunes

Barbara and Brad’s farm was a beautiful place to stay for the Ballarat marathon weekend. It’s a bit like a motel- we had the 4 person suite which was 2 double beds sharing a bathroom and kitchenette. There was another family of 10 that had booked the rooms next door. The main kitchen, fire pit and garden is shared so if there’s another large group you will definitely see them. The rooms were super clean and thoughtfully renovated, Barbara has clearly put in lots of thought with double glazed windows, split heating/cooling, filtered water in the taps, noise insulation (we couldn’t hear the other groups at all) etc. the garden is also beautifully landscaped and overlooks the sheep docks and mountains. Very serene and peaceful. The kitchen is also super well stocked with bbq we used to make burgers, fridge, stove, microwave, plates, mugs utensils etc for cooking dinner. There is also nespresso machine with pods as well as lots of tea and hot chocolate, milk. 25 mins from Ballarat.

Our stay at the Vicarage was absolute perfection. From the moment we arrived—lights on, music playing—we felt instantly relaxed. The home is a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and charm and Dean is an incredibly thoughtful host. The fires were set, the hot tub was ready, and a generous selection of provisions welcomed us. There were no tedious rules, just an open invitation to unwind and enjoy. The gardens were gorgeous too with plenty of quiet spots to enjoy a book or a cuppa, and Sammy the cat made us feel right at home. Every detail was focused on comfort and ease. We (reluctantly!) left feeling refreshed and are already dreaming of coming back. Thanks Dean for an unforgettable stay, you have truly perfected the art of hosting. Absolutely adored this place. It was cozy for the winter weather we experienced and had everything we needed. Perfect amount of space and furniture. Beds were very comfy and there seemed to be a lot of thought of what was included in the home and the quality of everything was great. Felt like a home away from home. I hope to come back one day when the weather is a bit better and take greater advantage of the lovely yard.

The cosy mudbrick cottage was superb. Every item you could think of was provided and beyond. The kids loved it and althou it was challenging with rain all weekend (which I might add was welcome to the area) - the kids still managed to occupy themselves inside. Would recommend this highly for someone looking for a rustic retreat with all the comforts of home. Thanks Anna - we were very satisfied. Job well done.
