Alice’s house is outstanding. We stayed as a couple with my father. We were greeted by Paola who although didn’t speak English we got by with my little bit of Italian and Google translate! The house was immaculate, tastefully decorated and extremely well equipped. A real home from home. The garden was an oasis of peace and had sun throughout the day. Lugnano itself is a lovely village though quiet at this time of the year ( May) The inhabitants are extremely friendly and happy to assist with your Italian 😁. There are some lovely restaurants and well stocked shops within walking distance. Also great wineries nearby which we really enjoyed. Overall a great stay in Lugnano enhanced by a beautiful property… I didn’t want to leave!

Comfortable and clean house in the historic center of a wonderful village Umbro, ideal for relaxing a stone's throw from Rome in a cozy setting with everything you need to spend a few pleasant days away from the chaos... This place is amazing! It was a competely unique experience staying in Anna's place. The private garden up the hill afforded gorgeous views of the historic tower and town that turned magical at night when everything was lit up. When we explored the town at night, we felt like we had gone back in time. There were motion sensor lights on the stairs to and from the garden so that we could easily and safely see our way. We had the historic part of the nicely lit up town at night to ourselves, adding to the atmosphere. Civitella D'agliano was our favourite of the many towns that we explored in the area. It is a genuine and evocative beauty, not marred by masses of tourists or souvenir shops. Anna and her English speaking friend, met our car to show us where to park, and showed us everything in the apartment and garden in detail. Anna gave us many delicious snacks and an apple cake. She also arranged a reservation at a local restaurant that was memorable. Stay here. You will never forget it!

Madi was a brilliant host and could not have been more helpful during our stay. She was delightful with the children, gave plenty of suggestions and even organised a trip to a local petting farm and horse riding lessons which was brilliant. The house itself is in a stunning location, with wonderful views and a gorgeous garden. Cooking in the kitchen with the windows open and the scent of jasmine and rosemary drifting in was bliss! Not to mention the pool which the kids loved. Thank you!
