Two pastures with shade shelters if you are traveling with horses. Historic town of Willcox food, wineries, museum, and a theater. Chihuahua National monument, Cochise Stronghold, Turkey Creek, Fort Bowie, Bisbee, Tombstone, Douglas, are within an hour drive. Much cooler temps here as the elevation is 4400'. Sandy and I invite you to enjoy a secluded hide away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We are located 4 miles from the Cochise Stronghold Mountains, The Chiricahua National Monument to the East is 45 minutes away. Our small town of Sunsites host the Iron Skillet which serves breakfast and lunch ,while TJ's bar and grill serves meals all day. Wonderful BBQ! Lots of History with Tombstone just an hour away. Kartchner Caverns State Park is 45 minutues away. Don't forget our wines!

Cochise Stronghold Canyon House

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Walk out the front door and into the mountains for an adventure or relax under the peaceful oaks and simply recharge. This classic adobe brick home captures simple luxury. Listen to the creek babble, run or roar when the rains come. Observe the lifeblood of the desert from the private bridge that crosses it. Bring your horses or pack goat and set them to roam in the paddock. Soak the stillness and take in the starry nights far from city lights.

High Desert Hideaway (Garage Space & Kitchenette)

This cozy 250 sq ft studio apartment, with dedicated one-car garage space, is located in a quiet neighborhood near the Huachuca mountains. The space is on the second story above the garage of a single-family home. Its charming size is perfect for individuals and couples. The shower and bathroom are small (may be uncomfortable for people over 6 feet). Works well for military, contractors, traveling nurses, and bird watchers. Includes everything needed for a short or long-term stay.

Nancy's Nest Mountains Trees and Solitude

A spacious get-away nestled amidst desert trees in view of the breath taking Dragoon Mountain range. Living room, kitchen, dining room, bathroom and bedroom spaces. 12 foot by 32 foot roofed patio allows for indoor/outdoor living. The only sounds you are likely to hear are those of the coyote and other desert friends. There is a telescope available to view the amazing night skies. We also have a ground set fire pit for roasting marshmallows and enjoying the mountains at night.

Quail Run Hideaway

Quiet country setting one mile from Willcox. Well behaved pets welcome, doggy door fenced in area. Sit quietly on the back deck to see birds including quail come to feed. Bird seed is provided. Sit on the front deck in the evenings and enjoy the hoot of our resident Great Horned Owl. The Sandhill cranes fly over in the morning and early evening, this happens in the late fall thru the middle of March. Several wine tasting rooms are available in Willcox and the surrounding area.
