Holiday rentals with beach access in Coco

Sandy and Melissa have a great place within walking distance to the beach! the space has everything you need and is clean and easy to find. I would definitely stay here again!

Excellent place to stay if traveling to the Potrero/ Flamingo area! The property grounds and rental unit are beautiful; the pictures are exactly what you get upon arrival! I loved drinking coffee outside in the mornings and watching the monkeys play in the trees! Communication with the host and family was great, and they left a binder full of recommendations for restaurants, beaches, excursions, and more! I look forward to staying at the rental again in the future!

We had an amazing and unforgettable stay at the Treehouse! Colleen was such a friendly and helpful host providing very detailed instructions and local recommendations. The Treehouse was immaculate, well-appointed, and had everything you need to feel right at home. We cooked breakfast and dinner almost everyday during our stay and enjoyed the spectacular view from inside and on the patio. The only challenge we had was fighting off the bugs from outside, but just be prepared for that when traveling to Costa Rica. They’re everywhere! We were also able to enjoy the infinity pool (all to ourselves in the mornings!) which was a short walk away. Overall, a very enjoyable trip to Costa Rica. I would highly recommend staying at the Treehouse if you like privacy, amazing views, and outdoor trails.

Solo female traveling alone. Felt immediately safe and comfortable in the gated community and walking alone to the beach and town. Friendly staff around who really care and take care of the property. Would highly recommend for your stay in Coco Beach! P.S. In case you play pickleball, check out The Club at Coco Bay which is a 5 minute walk. Day passes available. Buy at the desk, not online.

What a lovely community! The Aquamarine complex is adorable, the pool is perfect, the apartment is tidy and well equipped, and the location is great. Proximity to the airport is a huge plus! Juan Pablo is an excellent on site manager of the property. Lovely shops and restaurants within walking distance (The Wave Bar was great) and a 5 min walk to Coco beach! Wish we could have stayed longer. I would definitely stay here again if coming to the area, and will highly recommend to friends and family as well.

You will not regret staying here. My boyfriend and I had an unforgettable experience here in cocoa. The view really is that good & the pictures really are accurate. We came during the off season and got great weather, little rain but mostly sunny, and we are already rebooking during peak season. We fell in love with Costa Rica here. Thank you Dean! Lovely condo we will be revisiting soon! If you come you have to go to the restaurant Mar Azul right down the street walking distance! Incredible food great service.

In general, CR was more expensive than I would have guessed, which made Andrea's place an even better value than I hoped for. The unit is in a gated area right on a beautiful beach with a very active reef, and lots of colorful fauna. There's even a nice restaurant 100m away. We stayed much closer to home than we intended for the whole trip. If there was anything that might scare people away, there were several ant species roaming around the unit. It's a jungle, and they have wings, so what can you do? Nobody got bit, and they were individuals, not swarms. I also evicted a land crab that was enjoying the AC. I don't think you're going to find anything without an elevator and a lobby that doesn't have this level of intimacy with the local fauna. I would not hesitate to recommend Andrea's place to anyone.

Paulino, our host, was readily available whenever needed and responded to all questions including recommendations for local restaurants and activities. The home is in a beautiful gated community. It is quiet and private. The pool was well maintained. The kitchen was clean and functioned well. The beds were comfortable. Patio furniture comfortable. Lots of activities to do within a half hour drive. On our last night Paulino sent a private chef (Maria Fernanda who owns the local Momo Cafe) to cook a three course dinner for us at the villa! It was an amazing experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this villa, Paulino, Maria, and the Coco beach location to anyone looking for an easy, relaxing, and unique vacation experience.

The Casa Vera Vista was a beautiful villa on the cliff side over looking the bay with the most beautiful sunsets. The villa was close to the beach and great restaurants plus a good starting point for many excursions. The concierge team was always there when we needed them throughout the entire trip as well as with planning prior to arriving. The house was very clean, decorated very tastefully and had comfortable beds. The daily cleaning service was very helpful with three kiddos in tow. We had two dinners and breakfast with the recommended chefs and they exceeded our expectations, with both delicious food and friendly company. Our driver Raudy was always on time, professional and was very helpful in getting around with our busy itinerary. We definitely did a lot on our trip (zip lining, deep sea fishing, ATVs, snorkeling, rainforest, waterfalls, hot springs etc) and staying at the villa with the concierge service made it that much more special. Our interactions started before we arrived. Rebecca kindly agreed to show the property to our friends before we booked - we were going to stay for over a month. The place checked out 100%. We also asked for increased internet speed and a desk & chair so we could work remotely. Both requests were accommodated immediately. Check in was super smooth and the house was clean and exactly as posted. Like so many areas of Costa Rica, there are dirt roads and potholes. Don't expect smooth and dust-free roads, they don't exist in CR, but that's also the beauty. After waking each morning, I immediately headed to the rooftop deck with my coffee to take in the sounds and views of Coco. The birds, chickens, roosters, and dogs all made for a great morning welcome. The beach is 3-4 minutes down the road and Pacifico Beach Club is right there. We had a golf cart to get around, but most things are within walking distance. Playas del Coco is a beautiful little town, we will be back!

I can’t say enough good things about this incredible property in Costa Rica. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty and tranquility of the surroundings. The home is even more stunning than the photos—thoughtfully designed, impeccably clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying our coffee with a view of the lush jungle and distant ocean was truly magical. The pool was perfect for cooling off after a day of exploring, and the outdoor spaces made us feel completely immersed in nature. Our hosts were kind, responsive, and offered great local recommendations—from hidden beaches to amazing restaurants. Their hospitality made our trip even more special. If you’re looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway with a touch of luxury, this is the place. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

The rental unit was exactly as we expected from the listing. In particular, a covered area on the roof deck was perfect for watching the sunset. A few comments from other guests had given me the impression that it might be necessary to drive to get to local shops or restaurants. Although we had a car, we found that almost nothing in town was more than a 10-15 minute walk away. (That said, a car was best for a trip to the grocery store.) Jennifer and Brian were both very helpful and responsive, not only in addressing a couple minor questions about the rental, but also in giving some advice about the area. All in all, a very nice stay!

5 Stars – Best Airbnb I’ve Stayed In! This place was absolutely perfect! The location is excellent—just 50 yards from the beach, which made it incredibly convenient to enjoy the ocean every day. The home itself was spotless, with a beautiful pool and a well-equipped, modern kitchen. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Vidal was amazing—super helpful, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Hands down, this is the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in. I would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beach getaway!

Absolutely fabulous host and stay. Sophie is extremely detail oriented and leaves no stone unturned. From the moment we booked, to our departure she was thorough and precise. The home was very peaceful and very well maintained and exactly as described. We all loved the patio and the shared pool and community area. As an extra treat, my two daughters were able to do a short painting session with Sophie at the end of our stay. Great stay for families or couples looking to get a bit off the beaten path and enjoy a tranquil environment. Would definitely recommend this host and this home when visiting Playa Grande. Local guide book and FAQ's were also helpful.

Exceptional Stay with Outstanding Property Management! Our stay at this vacation rental in Playa del Coco was absolutely amazing, thanks in large part to the incredible professionalism of the property management team. From the moment we booked, they were proactive in ensuring a seamless experience. They created a group chat for easy communication, responding to every question quickly and efficiently. They were also flexible with our check-in time, which made our arrival stress-free. Their local recommendations were spot on, but the real highlight was the private chef they arranged for us—an unforgettable dining experience! The house itself was everything we hoped for—modern, spotless, well-equipped, and in a prime location with amazing views of Playa del Coco. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy Costa Rica. The place is exactly as pictured and the hosts, John and Marina, were super responsive and extremely helpful with local recommendations to help booking activities. Plenty of great dine-out recommendations with what to look out for and gotcha's. John really made us feel right at home and if we are returning to Playa del Coco in the future, we would definitely look to stay at this condo as it's very convenient and accessible. We loved it If I am really nit picking, then one minor improvement would be that the main gates could be driven by sensors to open when departing from the property instead of getting out of the vehicle to punch the codes - again it's really a non-issue but rather could be considered as an improvement.

Awesome place and great host

We had a great stay! Walked to the beach every evening for a sunset swim. Tara and Tyson provided towels, beach chairs, beach bag and a wagon to pull it all over. We used the pool almost every day, but heads up, during the dry season, lots of leaves fall. This DID NOT STOP us from enjoying it! Oh and lots of iguanas to watch and locate every morning. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the patio over looking the pool. The patio also had a great BBQ to grill up dinners. One of the little, but great things, is the lock box to keep the house key in, never worried about losing it.

We really enjoyed staying at Emilie’s place. We were able to walk from the condo all over playa coco. We were three girls and we felt completely safe. We would definitely stay here again!!

We had a very pleasant stay!

Joanna was a great host. Flexible and very accommodating when we’d made a mistake with our booking. Due to the time difference communication was a little delayed but that couldn’t be helped but needs to be considered. The apartment was perfect with all the amenities you’d require. Pacifico itself is a beautiful complex with everything you need right on hand. The pacifico complex has standards and rules that are gently enforced by the local security chaps who were all lovely so it’s nothing more than gentle advice if they feel the need. Kids jumping in the pool or music a little too late were two examples we encountered. None of this took away from a lovely stay in a lovely place.

This place was a luxurious treat to stay in, and helped our family of four (15 and 9 year old) have a great homebase for our time in Costa Rica. We arrived to a perfectly stocked kitchen, ready to use. Beach towels and pickle ball equipment was all there to use. A highlight was early morning coffee and family dinners on the idyllic porch surrounded by palm trees tops, watching the birds swoop through the trees. Tammy, you have a wonderful place, so thoughtfully put together and well-curated and cared-for, and Will, you are a wonderful contact and were so helpful with all our questions. The amenities were out of this world – with the swimming pools, lounge chairs and gardens – so easy to access and enjoy from this condo. Enjoying the stars from the vantage of a night swim or hot tub was another highlight for sure! The grocery store is a very short walk away, and we cooked lots of meals at home. The beach and cute souvenir shops were just down the street, as was the fruit seller. We all
