Gite du Rocher 1 – Vercors

Facing the cliffs of Presles and the cave of Choranche, the cottage is a completely independent and open apartment for 2 (or even 4) adults and a child, in this typical old farmhouse, inhabited by the owners. You have a private terrace with exceptional views, and you have free access to the large garden. Within the Regional Park, in a Natura 2000 area, the cottage has direct access to the forest. It is a very good starting point for the breathtaking Hauts Plateaux du Vercors.

This studio, equipped for 2 adults and 2 children, offers the possibility of a relaxing stay, combining views of the great outdoors and hiking in all 4 seasons. The practice of all sports in close contact with nature... skiing, snowshoeing, musher sledding, biathlon in the winter; mountain biking, climbing, caving, river swimming, canoeing, and mushroom picking in the other 3 seasons, and the Transhumance festival in June. Close to many activities and amenities: alpine skiing, hiking, snowshoeing, trail running, mountain biking, all-terrain scootering, via ferrata, summer tobogganing, tubing, archery, biathlon. You will also find a ski school, equipment rental, snack bar and restaurant.

The accommodation features a private terrace and a large park shared with the property's residents. In the summer, you will enjoy the comfort of air conditioning and a garden lounge area. If you are coming as a family with your baby, we have all the necessary equipment (crib, bathtub, play mat, baby bouncer, etc.). The cottage is located a 10-minute walk from the center of Die and a 5-minute walk from the train station. We also provide bicycles for guests.
