Holiday rentals with a patio in College Township

This was our first time staying in an Airbnb, and Wendy made our experience a positive one. She met us upon our arrival, and she provided us with clear entry instructions prior to our arrival. She also had written instructions posted within the apartment when additional explanations were necessary. Everything about the apartment matched its Airbnb description. We would definitely stay with Wendy again, and can with confidence recommend the property to those considering a stay with Wendy in the future.

Fantastic spot in a great neighborhood. Clean and comfortable at a solid price. Strong water pressure is a real perk for me and this place has it in spades. Highly recommended

Amy was so thoughtful with all the small amenities she provided, it made us feel right at home. The fireplace was a cozy plus. the place was spacious and so clean and updated.

Christopher’s place was the perfect retreat for an overnight in Harrisburg! I honestly didn’t know what to expect having booked an apartment downtown on Memorial Day weekend, but since the reviews were good and I was only staying one night, I decided to take my chances… and I’m glad I did; you’d never guess that such a peaceful spot was just blocks away from the capitol and the hustle and bustle of the city! I was extremely pleased with the location, both its walkability to attractions (I especially enjoyed an authentic Mexican breakfast at Tres Hermanos!) and its proximity to the peaceful river walk! My one and only complaint is that the shower only ran cold water (it was communicated that we could expect it to get cold after 15 minutes, but it never got warm), but it was for me a very minor issue in the context of my overall stay. The water temp might be an issue in colder weather or for longer stays, but for a short-term rental, this location can’t be beat!

This was a clean, well-cared for spot, right in town and very convenient for walking to shops nearby for my niece's graduation. Ryan was responsive and helpful in all communications. We would stay here again for sure!

Joseph is a great host; he offered excellent suggestions for local hikes, attractions, and restaurants. His place was spotless, and it was stocked with a nice selection of coffees and snacks. Mills Springs is a perfect location to explore the Central PA mountains; the Poe Valley Area is remote and beautiful; there is a scenic easy hike around Colyer Lake, which is only 15 minutes from the cabin. The location is ~20 minutes from State College and 25 minutes to a charming small town called Bellefonte. I highly recommend Joseph as a host and his cabin as a place to stay for a relaxing visit to the central PA mountains.

Irina’s place has been the best Airbnb we’ve stayed at so far (and we’ve been on a road trip for the past couple of months). She was incredibly responsive to any questions or concerns we had, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. The home itself is spacious, well-equipped with all the amenities we needed, and even includes an office room, which was a huge plus. We had an amazing stay right up until the very end, when the washing machine unexpectedly stopped working. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts to troubleshoot, it seemed to be a software issue that required more time and expertise to resolve. We felt bad that Irina had to deal with this, especially with another guest checking in on the same day we checked out. Despite the inconvenience, she remained respectful, kind, and professional throughout. All in all, we’d recommend this place 100%. If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate—it’s a fantastic choice!

The house is immaculate. By far the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. Stephanie was a fantastic host. Clear instruction and very accommodating with check in and check out. The location is perfect for my event. Centrally located on campus. I would definitely stay again if I’m in the area.

Jesse was a great host to a wonderful stay. My extended family needed a place to lodge that would house all of us, and everything was very accommodating. Beautiful property, spacious home, and everything we needed for a comfortable night. We would have loved to stay longer and enjoy everything the home and surrounding area had to offer.

Natalia had a perfect house!! It was exactly as the pictures showed, and better! The house was immaculate, comfortable, beautifully decorated and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. The coffee bar was a huge hit and the outside patio was beautiful and comfortable for evening cocktails. Communications with Natalia were wonderful and check in was easy. We are hoping to come back next year!!!

This house was in a great neighborhood and perfect for our stay in State College! The beds were super comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked and perfect for a family meal post graduation. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a beautiful and cozy country cottage. Our host left us everything to make breakfast (including eggs!) and s’mores for the fire pit which we unfortunately couldn’t partake in because of the rain. It was such a comfy and cozy place that I will make sure I book this residence whenever I come to the area. Instructions were very clear and host was very responsive. Thank you for a great trip!

The "Colorado Cabin" greatly exceeded our expectations. The only mistake we made was only booking the home for a weekend. (We've corrected that by booking a 4-day stay for the Fall!) Our hosts (Doug and Ashley) were quick to respond to our questions. The home was spotless. The place was well stocked from the bathroom (plush linens, all sorts of soaps and creams) to the kitchen (bottled water, more condiments than we could ever use, coffee). And to top it all off, a "Welcome" gift. We gave Doug and his team an unqualified "10" on a 1-5 rating scale. ---Mark

Sherry’s place was exactly what was described in the listing and even better in person. Our family of four enjoyed Memorial Day Weekend here and enjoyed the golf course and Clubhouse Restaurant. We will be returning again soon. Make sure you give this place a try!

I love how it makes me feel like home. Great work area and the kitchen is my favorite place. Also really convenient if you have dogs cause there is some great area to go in a long walk with your pets

Great deal, comfortable beds, had everything I needed had issues with the toilet and got fixed right. Great hosts and will take care of you if something happens with the Airbnb.

My friends and I stayed here for a long weekend. We had the best time! The hosts are the nicest people and went out of their way to make sure that we had a great stay! The hosts kept us posted on all of the fun activities on the mountain. We loved the fireplace in the condo. We will definitely be back! Thank you 😊

We LOVED this little condo in the woods! We were surrounded by beautiful forest, enjoyed the daily melody of bird song, & OMG the bed was so comfortable! I looked forward to getting into it every night & never wanted to leave it in the morning. The convenience of having the washer/dryer and full-sized appliances in the kitchen was like having a home away from home. Although we never got to meet Rose in person, she was always available through the app to ask questions. Admittedly, we weren't prepared for the long, winding journey to get to the condo & didn't realize it was so high in the mountains & isolated, but we still enjoyed the experience. The condo is close to a resort where you can ski in the winter & do other activities year-round. Our purpose for renting the condo was to scout out Pennsylvania & decide if this state will be our next home. Verdict? YES! Highly recommend staying here, especially if you want to get away from it all. Still only minutes to amenities, though!
