House holiday rentals in Collingwood

It was a challenge to find a place that would fit our close family of 16 (adults and late teenagers) to celebrate the wedding of our daughter, but I am so pleased that we found Bay Ridge. We had a fantastic time , loved the gardens , the views and heaps of space. The short and scenic drive to Kaiteriteri beach was so easy as well as the walk to the delightful split apple rock and beach. It was such a pity that due to travel / arrangements we could not stay longer. Highly recommend the place and again thanx to Annie who is a fantastic host.

Stunning views, every minute in this beautiful building was amazing! The location is close to Split Apple rock, which was a cool mini hike. The Abel Tasman tour booths and pick up are less than a 15 minute drive away to book a trip out into the national park. There are penguins that come up to the property at night that are hilarious to listen to, we went to an aquarium a few days later and found a stuffed animal that sounded so similar that between our group we ended up getting three of these stuffies throughout the trip just because we'd heard them at this location and it was such a good memory to have made. I Wish we could have stayed longer. Hope we get the chance to again someday!

We had an idyllic two weeks here, exploring on foot, by car, and rented e-bikes. Easy access to a great network of bike trails (the Great Taste Trail). An easy walk to 2 brewpubs and other restaurants and an excellent Thai massage location. Go east to Havelock for mussels or west to Abel Tasman NP for a Waka paddle or beach time. Back home we would relax in the private hot tub, enjoy the TV and cook in the well stocked kitchen. The accommodation was spotless, with a comfortable bed and everything we needed for a relaxing time. The host was always responsive and provided lots os suggestions for sights, shopping and restaurants.

This property is everything one could ask for. The house is spacious which allows for privacy for all party members. It is an old house with a unique feeling one can appreciate. The house is very well equipped and the garden is spectacular. The view is breathtaking one does not want to leave the house! The host is lovely, very responsive and helpful! We would stay longer if we could . Very highly recommended!

Wonderful stay at Matt and Lucy's. the home was well appointed with everything we needed. the pool and the spa was very good and we felt super relaxed and comfortable here. would happily recommend.

A wonderful home in a beautiful location with stunning views. We particularly enjoyed the pool, spa and being able to walk to amazing restaurants and wine bar. Sally and Wayne were friendly helpful hosts. Highly recommend staying

Paul’s house and setting matched our expectations from the listing. It was very clean, tidy, spacious, warm and nicely furnished. The lounge, dining and kitchen area looked out across the garden to the beach. Unfortunately it rained for most of our short stay so we didn’t take as much advantage of the outdoor setting and facilities as we might have otherwise done. Despite that our party of 4 adults and 3 children all enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very welcoming and were quick to answer any queries we had.

Bob and Koniko were awesome hosts. They were warm and welcoming upon our arrival and throughout our stay. The arrival instructions were clear and on point and Bob had some great intel on area beaches, restaurants and other attractions. They were promptly responsive to any communications or questions we had and they were accommodating and helpful to a fault when we had any inquiries or requests. The property itself is incredible-very nicely furnished and equipped with a stunning vantage point and view over Pohara Bay and Farewell Spit. The location could not have been more convenient with easy and quick access to beaches, walks, and other amazing destinations such as waterfalls, natural springs, and unreal rock formations. There were several cafes within easy walking distance and Takaka is a 10 minute drive if you're looking for more variety or want to spend a day browsing some very cool and interesting shops and other restaurants and dining options.

We had a wonderful stay. The house and property had a beautiful feel to it and it was very peaceful. Would stay again.

Samara’s place was beautiful with a gorgeous view and patio overlooking the coast. It was clean and had great instructions for everything. I loved the hike into town.

Amazing house in Glenduan. Beautifully decorated old Villa, nice and cosy with the warm fireplace and an amazing view. Very thoughtful host offering hot water bottles on a cold evening and very good communication. would definitely come back to stay here again.

The apartment was spacious and modern. Comfy rooms and quiet location. Megan was a great host, and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend.

Perfect stay for our family of 4! We loved the estuary views from the living room and kitchen. It was a quick and easy walk into town. The kids loved the trampoline and table tennis. The house was well appointed with all we needed. One of our favorite rentals during our 6 months in New Zealand, I highly recommend!

A lovely, warm and sunny place to stay. Ideal for us as we needed to be close to the hospital, otherwise it was just a short stroll to town or drive to the beach. Caroline & Gareth were amazing hosts.

A beautiful, clean, quiet, warm, and cosy space. The host was extremely helpful and responsive. The kitchen is well equipped and the house is well laid out. We really enjoyed out stay.

Jamie was a wonderful host. She was very informative it was always available if we had any questions. We absolutely loved this place. We had kids with us that loved the chickens and enjoy the patio out back. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed for our stay. very impressed! For us in New Zealand this has been our favorite place to stay! would definitely recommend!

Stunning views, wonderful stay, too short, and was too fast! Waking up to the view was divine. Daniella was such a kind and amazing host. The space was clean, light, bright and so cosy, and we felt right at home. We had a great stay, and didnt want to leave, we will be back in the summer. What a great spot. This is located directly across the street from the “Queens Gardens” and a quick 5 min walk to the downtown/CBD district. Restaurants are everywhere along with shopping and things to do. The house is to the rear of a duplex so you don’t hear any street noise and the backyard is very private and the patio is covered in case it rains. Very good price for everything you get and would highly recommend the location to anyone traveling to Nelson.

Comfortable, tasteful, thoughtfully provisioned & presented with lots of art & flowers (& some delightful welcome treats 😋) - and so spacious. Great garden & of course, that killer view from every room & monster verandah. A precious nugget at Golden Bay. Home & caring host both exceptional. 10.5 out of 10. (We’d give more, but who’d believe 11?)

We had a great time at Grant’s place in Pohara Beach recovering after the Heaphy. A very cute family Bach with everything we needed - we made the most of the board games, table tennis and DVD collection. The location by the beach and down the road from a good pub and cafe was perfect. It got cold at night even in April but the fire, heaters and extra blankets kept the house cosy. Would definitely stay again.
