The hotel itself was lovely. Great pool and garden area, top floor open area was lovely for relaxing with nice views. Room was clean and comfortable. Angelika was so kind and helpful. The only issue we found was similar to a previous review. The owner is very forthcoming. He wouldn’t take no for an answer on what he wanted us to have for dinner or what he wanted us to buy from his shop. The night we arrived we had been awake for 24 hours having just climbed a mountain, (he knew this) and he proceeded to stand over us as we ate dinner then pulled up a chair and we had to ask him to leave. We didn’t feel relaxed around him and were made to feel bad declining his dinner option and for not booking a massage. It was a shame as the hotel itself was lovely and peaceful.

A great starting point for the start of our Sri Lanka trip (3 girls). Dhammika and Angelika were very helpful at all times and tried to meet our requests. The airport pickup went smoothly (3 a.m.) and we were also able to get into our room immediately. Room was very spacious, cozy and clean. The covered roof terrace overlooking the "jungle" was a highlight.

Nice location and having a swimming pool was great as that day it was very windy. Well communication and a great team. I recommend the place!

Very nice place to stay in Ettukala/Negombo. The room is spacious, with long balcony, well kept, clean and has a good A/C. There is a small restaurant in the location with optional breakfast. The swimming pool is a welcomed addition. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. It was a very pleasant stay, well worth its price. The only thing we wouldn't recommend is the external massage parlor they cooperate with (affordable but not really worth it).

We would go back to the property any time. Got very good breakfast in the restaurant and the rooms were super clean. The waiter Tharuka served us very well and was incredibly helpful and very accommodating. Restaurants and downtown were within walking distance and we got very good tips for the onward journey. We highly recommend Nebula and would book again anytime!

Extremely affordable accommodation! His with teams are very nice and helpful with both check-in/flexible check-out and carrying assistance with luggage. The pool area is nice and well-maintained, the restaurant has nice staff who serve good and well cooked food and good drinks.

we stayed only few hours due to early flight and late sign in. Location was perfect for that due to the easy acceess to the airport. Yet it was peaceful.

Staying with Chaminda was a pleasure. The location was perfect after a long flight. He arranged to picked me up from the Airport for a very reasonable fare. Chaminda and staff are very friendly. Highly recommended!

Very convenient location. Provided airport pickup for a small fee even though it was late. Friendly and welcoming staff. Nice gardens and a good chill out zone. ATM close by. Great place to stay if arriving late.

Daniel is very friendly and helps with everything. The place is cozy and clean, they constantly clean. There is a clean and fun pool Recommended!!

Staying in 8+ boutique was excellent and exceeded my expectations. It’a managed by family so you can imagine how hospitable and comfortable place this was. Very helpful and kind people, they recommended local tours and attractions to do. Room & facilities were clean and neat, breakfast was amazing homemade by mum and location is great as well. Can’t recommend this enough, made my trip enjoyable up to 10000%

It was a pleasure staying for almost 10 days at Reef Bungalow! Daniel and Stephanie (and the whole staff as well) are ones of the best hosts I ever had. They are very friendly, easy and fast communication, they are lovely. About the place, exactly as on the pictures, but something that was a big surprise is that they have an extended menu of homemade local and ocidental dishes, so you can taste the proper sri lanka’s food or a hamburger. Loved to stay there, the only bad thing that is not their fault, I mean, it’s something about whole sri lanka is internet. so I would recommend you to get a sim card on the airport as soon as you arrive. But the internet on the accommodation is quite good, the best we seen so far here. If you are planing to stay at Reef Bungalow, dont think twice! I truly recommend!!

Very comfortable room. only minus that the room was on the 1st floor and restaurant on the building on the other side on the 2nd floor. we order addictionally breakfast and IT was good and tasty. between building there is a bridge to restaurant on the seconda floor. very good swimming pool.
