El Sol was the perfect place for our little getaway! It was clean, cute and cozy, the perfect spot for my husband and I. I liked that it was located just close enough to town without it being a long drive, but also tucked away enough to be away from the city. We saw 5 deer on the property during our stay! All in all El Sol made our trip a great one and we can’t wait to come back!

Great place! This is exactly the perfect spot if you wanted to get away and did not have any plans. It was very peaceful. The trail was empty when we arrived but had a lot of water the next day. There was a hot tub that was available and it was wonderful. Sean and Ren were great hosts.

The Crossland House is bigger than it looks from the photos. The vibe is sort of rustic luxury, you feel like you’re in a cabin but you are not lacking any comforts. There’s full size A/C units with duel control of the kitchen/living room as one zone and the bedroom/bathroom as another. We were able to keep the bedroom nice and cold without wasting A/C on the other side of the cabin as we were in and out a lot. Lots of natural light throughout the house, it’s a very quiet area and was a great place to relax. The shared area around the property is well maintained and very peaceful. There’s 4 or 5 other houses around, but it didn’t take away from our privacy or stay. We were greeted by several deer when we arrived and both in the morning and in the evening. The stairs leading down to the creek are easy to access. It’s just under a half a mile to walk into town if you want to avoid parking and HEB and Brookshire's are both very close.

We enjoyed our stay at our little cabin! It was located right on the river and was the perfect size place for a weekend trip.

Awesome weekend getaway and exactly as advertised. Rare combination of history and modernity - you can picture yourself in the 1800s and then hop in the AC! We went to celebrate a birthday and found David’s place to be perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed the goats, the local plums and goat cheese, and just wish we had more time to explore the area! Highly recommend for couples looking to escape for a weekend. David was friendly and informative. He lives on part of the property but you still feel secluded and private.

Wow this was such a great lay out and space for the square footage. super clean and in short driving distance to many places (HEB, restaurants and Greune). Neel was super responsive and detailed in the arrival notes. Would stay again for sure!

This was a serene experience! Used as a getaway and reset for me the place is set up for group fun or a solace and peace. Despite many people partying the unit was sound and there wasn’t much noise. The roads are definitely better suited for an off road experience but over all tranquility is key! The hosts are very responsive and attentive to any needs or concerns. Thanks Jacob and crew!

Our stay at the Mockingbird Inn cabin was excellent. The cabin was just like advertised - well equipped with all the necessities and extra amenities advertised. Kenneth was super responsive and provided clear instructions. Thank you (and your hens) for providing fresh eggs! We could not take the leftover ones with us since we were not going straight home afterwards. Definitely look forward to booking a future stay!

The home was quaint and close to the lake and attractions. The bed was very comfortable and the theme of the house was very creative. The neighborhood is quiet.

This is the cutest, rustic cabin! Nestled in natural greenery, comfortable decor, and a relaxing River… my adult daughter and I floated, relaxed, and enjoyed our mini-holiday SO much! We ate at Myron’s, shopped, and enjoyed NB’s farmer’s market. My little pugs ran around and napped til their hearts were content. Five Stars! Thank you for having us, Amy!

Was a great stay! Beautiful space and nice home! The roads were a little rough getting to the house but everything else was great!

This is an immaculate little cabin. Very rustic but well done. This place has amazing windows! They are super industrial quality and kept the cabin at a comfortable temperature. Nice bed with foam mattress which is always comfortable. You feel quite remote but close to everything. Beautiful view and lots of wildlife. You are definitely immersed in the Texas Hill Country in this little cabin. We were visiting for a wedding an a larger mirror in the bathroom would have made make-up easier but I'm not complaining! We enjoyed our stay.

Our family of 5 stayed at Par's cabin over a long weekend. Check-in/out: very easy, clear instructions Responsiveness: very responsive and kind. Par even took the initiative to store extra blankets as we were expecting a cold weekend. Cabin: very clean with easy to use appliances. Beds, linens, bathrooms, and furniture were all clean and spotless. Outdoors: private cabin, very quiet and peaceful. Our children loved the playground set, hammock, and zipline! We enjoyed the firepit and charcoal grill as well. Location: just a 10-15 minute drive to Canyon Lake and numerous hiking trails, 35 minutes to Natural Bridge Caverns. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and we highly recommend Par's cabin. We would definitely stay again.

Outstanding place to stay in the Canyon Lake Community and just down the street from Whitewater Amphitheatre. Sarah had clear instructions which made it easy for us from Check In to Checking Out.

This was probably my most peaceful Airbnb booking. It was so quiet, the deer would come right into the yard. It’s at the end of a dead end road so there was no traffic whatsoever. The home itself was very spacious and this is also the first location that I’ve booked that I actually spent time outside, relaxing on the patio.

This was our second time staying here and it did not disappoint! JD and Tatiana are always so welcoming and some of the best host. Perfect spot for a couples getaway with privacy but still close enough to get into town. Great kitchen where we were able to make breakfast every morning and sit and enjoy on the porch. Bed is super comfortable to get a great night of sleep. My husband and I have made the decision to have an annual trip to this house once a year because it truly is our favorite and always such an amazing experience ❤️

Great farm style house tucked away in the woods. Close access to winberly. Perfect for a family. Very quiet and peaceful. Apple Maps and google maps show different road names in the area. Recommend looking up whisper ridge on google maps (near wimberly). Turn on to that street off old Kyle road/3237. Take whisper ridge up the hill then turn right on Oak meadow ln (dirt road with sign for address in listing). Keep driving down oak meadow ln until you see another sign with the address from the listing and the spot will be on the right near a shipping container.
