Very clean, near to the slopes

We loved it and spent a few weeks very comfortable. We were there because the Sierra Nevada High Performance Center had no room for everyone and this apartment was the perfect choice, we would love to come back!

The accommodation is fantastic, as for Virginia, she was always looking out for us.

Everything was excellent and as published. The host's responses and attention were immediate, even late at night.

After some initial confusion on check-in (please check your Airbnb messages Manuel!), Tomas arrived to show us around the house and gave us recommendations for restaurants etc. Manuel's house is beautiful and full of authentic Spanish charm. The Moorish ceiling decoration in the hallway was particularly beautiful. Overall the house was very clean, with working air conditioning and an excellent shower. Having a garage for our car was fantastic as public parking in Úbeda is limited. The road outside the house is fairly wide by Spanish standards so you shouldn't have any issues getting in and out with a reasonably sized car. Relaxing in the courtyard during the evening by the fountain was a perfect way to end a long day.

We only stayed one night but the property was as clean as a new house. Very nice and friendly host and very good communication. There was free coffee and drinks in the fridge. The AC was already on before arrival so the house was cooled down. Beds where very good to sleep. If we are in the neighbourhood again ,we sure will use this host.

Amalia, the host, and José, her husband, are charming. They live in the house next door and have given us suggestions on activities to do that have been very fun and rewarding. If you want a few days of country life and to hike along beautiful trails, don't hesitate to stay with Amalia. The nearby villages (about 15-20 minutes by car) have many amenities (bars, shops,...)

A nice house with plenty of space for 4 adults on a ski trip. The place was clean and well equipped, with a good view over the ski area. A short walk to the chair lift taking you down to the gondola station. You can also buy ski passes and rent equipment there, very convenient.

It was wonderful, the house is beautiful just like the neighbourhood, the view from the terrace is amazing. Carlos is very nice and helpful.

We stayed at Tom and Carmen’s for our honeymoon, and we couldn’t have dreamed up a more magical place to mark the occasion. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we had stepped back in time — the house is steeped in history but also clearly infused with Tom and Carmen’s artistic vision and care. You can feel how much love and thought has gone into making this house a home. There’s an almost otherworldly ambience here — we found it hard to tear ourselves away because we were so content discovering the little nooks and corners of the house. The steam room was a wonderful luxury, and on our second morning, we were gleefully woken up by a shepherd and his flock in the meadow just outside — including a newborn lamb nursing right in front of us! This house and town captured our hearts. It was the perfect place to begin our marriage, and we found ourselves fantasizing daily about moving to Atalbeitar full time.

It deserves 100 per 100 a visit! The entrance is just above the casita. Going down without fear! There is plenty of room to park. The house is how it is described and how it looks in the photos! Everything is so beautiful! We really liked the stay and highly recommend it. Too bad we didn't have more days to enjoy! Thank you so much! Merci beaucoup!

5 stars – A perfect stay! Jose was an exceptional host — friendly, responsive, and thoughtful from start to finish. The home was spotless, stylish, and exactly as described (if not better!). Every detail had been considered, from the comfortable beds to the well-equipped kitchen and cozy atmosphere. The location was ideal, quiet yet close to everything we needed. A perfect place to discover La Alpujarra and its surroundings. A warm and cozy apartment with incredible views

From the time of booking until our arrival, the hostess Paloma was always available to guide us. Unfortunately, an unexpected family event forced us to return to Portugal earlier and we were unable to enjoy the entire stay. Paloma was very comprehensive, and we want to thank all the support and solidarity, waiting in the near future, to be able to return and enjoy the space that is so pleasant and well located.

Good morning!!!!We spent a few days with the most fun family!The flat has met our expectations. It's just as you can see in the photos. To put a pega it's the area . That to go with small children you always have to depend on the ski lift or bus. Although there is not much walking distance...they are stairs and slopes. In our case, it was also not a problem,since we all had a pass and the lift had it almost at the entrance of the portal. Lara was very nice and made things very easy for us. Totally recommendable. Almudena is a pleasant, very attentive host. The accommodation is very good, there was everything I needed and even more. The city of Carboneras is not exceptional but it is peaceful and the location of the accommodation is ideal for visiting the Cabo de Gata park. I will certainly return and with pleasure

There is no smell in the apartment as was mentioned in a previous review, in fact it had a very clean crisp fresh smell as you enter. The parking is perfectly located opposite the lift and right next to the apartment when you exit. It was always warm throughout our stay. There is plenty of space for the whole family to move around and for children to play. The kitchen was complete with what we needed to make daily meals and sandwiches for the slope. Fernando the host was always available day and night for any request (brought us an electric kettle from Granada late at night within less than an hour when asked). We rented all our ski gear including clothing for very reasonable price and he conveniently brought everything to the apartment and we left it all there on departure. Highly recommend Fernando for lessons, he taught my wife and children to ski, he was very thoughtful, patient and professional. Thank you for a great memorable experience.
