While Granada itself was not our cup of tea, this stay was a beautiful oasis. It was perfect for our needs, and the views from the windows were incredible--especially at night.

We spent a great week with our family in Philippe's house. The house is nestled in the beautiful nature with a view of the reservoir and the mountains of the Sierra Nevada, which are still snow-covered in our time. You live there in harmony with nature and can discover a lot. Our kids really enjoyed the garden and especially the pool. We took many beautiful excursions from there to Granada (Alhambra) and also up into the mountains and felt very comfortable.

Fantastic and Excellent!!! Victor is friendly and an excellent communicator. The accommodation; Better than photos. with secure parking by the front door. Entrance then split level. First floor has a full size kitchen with a door leading to a BBQ area. A toilet. A dinning area and sofa area with big sliding doors with a lovely view and balcony with an out door table for six people. The next floor has a bathroom/ toilet etc, three bedrooms with one having an on suite bathroom. All bedroom are on the pool level with sun loungers and jacuzzi. It’s a great place to swim and sunbathe. Relaxing, great restaurants. Perfect. Lots to do and within driving distance to major water activities / Dolphin tours. We hired a boat, no license needed for small motor boat, dolphins swam next to the boat, It was amazing. Large Shopping plaza one hour drive through the hills, smaller ones closer. Yes there is a McDonalds, Lidl,Aldi and Spanish supermarkets. Old town near the castle. Will be back!

We had a fantastic stay at this wonderful house which has been thoughtfully refurbished and decorated! The house had everything we needed and everything was very well thought out. It’s a perfect place for a relaxing escape while still being in good reach of Velez-Malaga and Malaga itself by car. Our hosts were always very helpful, with excellent communication throughout. They took extra care to make sure that we were okay and had everything we needed during the Spain blackout which was very kind! We would happily come back to stay again!!

What a wonderful time we had at Casueña. Alicia and Jorge were so welcoming, helpful, friendly, and fun. They met us at the villa and showed us everything we needed to know, and then were always on hand for anything else we needed. The villa was so well equiped, including basic food, tea, coffee, and fruit to get us going. Also, on the first morning, Alicia and Jorge gave us a basket of eggs from their own chickens! We loved the beautiful furniture, artwork and ornaments which all added to Casueña's charm. Since the weather was hot we spent most of our time in the stunning garden and lovely pool. Beautiful mature plants, shrubs and trees made the garden feel magical, as did the many birds who visited including a familly of swallows. A short trip (about 2 miles) down to the village of Santa Rosalía provided a good supermarket (open every day), cafes, and restaurants. Thank you Alicia and Jorge - you are very special people and we will definitely be back to visit you and Casueña.

We had a wonderful stay at Miguel's house. The view is breathtaking and even more beautiful than in the photos. The kitchen was very well equipped and the beds very comfortable, which is always important for us. The road there is actually a bit adventurous, but doable. Nevertheless, we were glad that we had a slightly higher car. Miguel welcomed us very warmly and made sure that we lacked nothing!

Fabulous, from start to finish. Araceli always responded promptly and her communication helped with a very smooth checkin. The apartment was exactly as it states online. Spacious, great roof terrace, air conditioning and a good supply of kitchen utensils. Clean inside and out and extremely comfortable. The views are wonderful, out to sea, and perfect for people watching, with a glass of wine. Thanks Araceli for making our holiday so memorable.

Charming accommodation in a small quiet village near Granada (about 20 minutes by car)! Perfect for relaxing outside the big city! The pretty courtyard with mountain views and the pool to cool off in was a favorite! The beds are very comfortable! The owners are very attentive! Joaquin came to pick us up in town to accompany us more easily to the house and with his wife we explained the house! They are very discreet!

The space is gorgeous. Everything is optimal and visually very appealing. Upon arrival, the fire in the fireplace was already turned on and the reception was very friendly. I can only warmly recommend the place and will be happy to come back. Unfortunately, I was not lucky with the weather but it was also wonderful to read a book and find peace. Monika

Quiet place with a rustic house, beautiful with all the messages and utensils. Large pool ideal for disconnection. All fenced that is perfect for those of us who have a dog. Lola is a helpful and kind person.

A fantastic accommodation. Perfect for couples. You are completely undisturbed and blessed with absolute privacy. The view and the cottage are beautiful and invite you to linger or spend a cozy day by the pool. The drive up the mountain is a bit tedious, but you will be well compensated by the great view. We found the location of the accommodation to be an optimal center for excursions to Ronda, Seville, Granada and Cordoba. Each destination is between 1.5 and 2.5 hours' drive (all four are highly recommended). The accommodation was very clean and very practical. Helga is an absolutely reliable and accommodating hostess.

The house is spectacular. It combines tradition and modernity in a very original way. Despite being March, the children have bathed in the pool and ran a lot in all the exteriors. Quiet neighborhood and hosts pending at all times to resolve any issues. In short, it is an ideal house for large groups. Highlight how fast the heating system worked. Despite appearing, at first, that we were going to be cold in some stays, in about three hours it was great anywhere in the house

Genuinely a great place. Tranquil local area but close to the city. Great for multiple people to relax. The hosts are amazing with recommendations and willing to help out whenever they can. Couldn’t recommend this place more

We had a great stay at Angel’s villa. The bbq, pool and views are the highlights of the place! Will definitely try to come back one day.

We loved our stay in this tiny Andalusian village in the hills. It was in a peaceful and beautiful location. We felt so at home there and loved the traditional feel to the house. We ate outside every mealtime, enjoying the views from the wonderfully spacious garden and made the most of the pool. We ventured out to Competa and visited a great new restaurant (by day) and also a trendy insta worthy bar (by night) called Adrianos. We also visited the coast once (be careful not to take the small mountain road back. Big mistake on our part!). We knew the parking was on the road, but the access steps to the house are uneven and steep which was not a problem in the slightest for my husband and but proved a struggle for my mother in law and her wonky hip! Maybe make that clearer for those who find access tricky. All in all, we loved it here and are so grateful for the handy hints offered by the owners so promptly. We hope to return with our grown up children next year! Thank you.

This is what Airbnb should be all about! A very special place, a special project, part of someone's home. In an area we would have otherwise never considered staying. Our stay was so charming, and the area so beautiful (away from the overtourism in the historic center) while still being only a 15 minute drive away from the "sites." The donkey, the fruit trees, the farms next door... it was an incredibly peaceful experience. We slept incredibly well. Internet and hot water were great. The road to the house is a bit of an adventure.. but we had no problem in a small SUV and anything but a mini car should be able to handle it if you are a brave driver. The views are well worth it ;) . Thanks a million to Agata and I cant recommend her place enough if you are planning to visit Granada.

Beautiful accommodation in an atypical place, a little out of the way but very accessible by bus or car.

It was what we were looking for, nature area with tranquility, and close to areas we wanted to visit, very nice Montefrio and the area many things to discover.

A 10-star host. The house is very well decorated and the stay is very pleasant and the area is especially beautiful. The photos reflect the soul of the place. 😉 We'll be back for sure.

Eva was supremely helpful and friendly. The mattress was the most comfortable in Spain. The town of course beautiful. If I could give 6 stars, I would.

We were staying for 4 days. Everything was clean and looked almost new. The location of the house is in a super quiet place and the village has beautiful views. We had a problem with a baby crib and they solved it super fast and attentively. 1 hour from Granada. Recommended and great for going with children.

This is a true hidden gem, easily the house with the best view I’ve ever been. The hosts are friendly and responsive. They were also very flexible concerning the checkin and checkout time. Would surely recommend this place!
