Guesthouse holiday rentals in Comox Valley

My husband and I had a weeklong retreat at Liz & Dean’s property. It really was idyllic and just what we needed. The tiny house is situated in beautiful oasis. Even though it is situated in the same yard as the main house, it felt private and peaceful. Liz was exceptionally responsive to every question I asked and provided detailed instructions and tons of local information. Homemade granola was in the cupboard and one day we were even treated to one of Liz’s delicious fruit galette. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed, from every type of coffee making equipment imaginable, to a cookie sheet and casserole. I was able to cook several meals and even did a bit of baking. The location was close to the grocery store, local market on Thursday and the farmer’s market on Saturday, and was a short drive to Helliwell Park and Tribune Bay. We are already planning for our next retreat to Liz and Dean’s property.

This beautiful bachelor suite was clean, bright, and homey feeling. Located in a quiet neighbourhood and only a short walk down the road to the ocean, this place was a wonderful place to come to enjoy peace and quiet

This is a little Oasis. We loved touring the gardens and saying hellos to the ducks and chickens. It was wonderful having three private rooms for our group. The local recommendations he provided were helpful. Make sure you order some of their baking and preserves while enjoying your stay. We were lucky enough to try their fare at the farmer’s market. Delicious!

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay in this cute and charming cabin. The location was perfect and amenities as well.

One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. We had got ready for our elopement here and then stayed for the weekend. It was spotless and very welcoming. The views are incredible. Lisen was SO helpful, friendly and very communicative.

We had a lovely, quiet and peaceful stay. The place was clean and had everything we needed. The shower products were lovely. The farm setting was perfect for us and we slept so well. Our little dog was immediately relaxed and right at home too. I enjoyed hearing the rooster in the morning (it wasn’t too loud, just right) and visiting the chickens/goats. Thanks for a great stay!

Angela’s awesome home was handmade by Angela. The home was perfectly handcrafted with amazing details and tasteful design details. The location is 2 blocks away from the beautiful Powell Lake and the Sunshine Coast trail. The hiking was incredible. Linens, beds, towels and kitchen appliances very top notch. The view from the home was fantastic. I highly recommend Angela’s property. Angela was so friendly and helpful. Stay here!!

Melinda’s home is bright and airy, and clutter free. It looks just like the photos. Loved the quick walk to the local beach. We were in the area to explore the whole valley, so it was a great spot to get in our car and go in the morning and return to at night to relax and cook dinner!

This was our favourite Air BnB! So clean and cozy, the hot tub was a great added feature. We would definitely stay here again

This house is amazing! Peaceful location, nice private property as well. The house itself is very roomy and modern. If you’re looking for a house in this general area I would highly recommend this place. 5 stars

Peaceful little beachfront gem - will 100% return! Cabin has everything two people need for a relaxing stay - stocked kitchen, cozy furnishings, comfy bed, hot shower. The standout, however, is the incredible location right on the beach. Quiet, peaceful and private spot with huge windows and great deck for watching wildlife and the sea. Beach firepit is tucked in away from the breeze and positioned perfectly for catching the sunset. Stairs down will be a challenge for some but it adds to the private nature of the space. Note: bathroom is not very private (door closes but no ceiling and therefore open to rest of cabin).

First time to the island and Hubby and I felt right at home. Beautiful view, close to everything we wanted to do. Easy to find and perfect for 2 people.

May 2025 We had a wonderful week, very relaxing and the space is very modern and well thought out. Very nice to have our own small garden place with hummingbirds. Door access from back lane/ drive way very simple no steps so easy access for anyone with mobility challenges. Great location within walking distance of town and restaurants. Kitchen was well equipped, includes basic spices, we cooked several meals and everything we needed was there. Anne was on site and very helpful.

We've traveled a lot and stayed in many air bnb's all over the world. Natasha's place is the best we've ever stayed in! Clean, quiet, modern spacious, lots of easy parking space. it is a completely separate building, so lots of privacy and beautiful surroundings. Thank you for the great stay!

Such an amazing place - we were so happy to be there! Everything inside is brand new and such high quality. The entire guest house is yours - and even though it’s on the same lot as the main house, it’s built strategically so you have your privacy. Highly recommend! 10/10

We had a fantastic stay! The location was perfect for biking, running to Seeds for ingredients, grabbing coffee in the morning, and meeting friends at the Brewery. The space felt private, was well-equipped, and had everything we needed. It was easy to safely store two bikes, which made it even better for our trip. Exactly what we hoped for — we’d love to stay again in the future!

Well designed and immaculately clean upstairs suite that is separate from the main house. Layout is spacious for two people and includes two leather recliners in front of the TV. Allows for views from each space of the surrounding mountains. Great neighbourhood super safe and subdivision built in the last several years. This is the type of place we really like. Highly recommended would stay here again.

The cottage was immaculate and nicely furnished . Although I didn't have a need to cook, the kitchen was well appointed with everything one would need for preparing meals, even a gas barbecue ! Although the road was very busy during the day, I found it very peaceful for sleeping . Jennifer, my host, was friendly and very efficient with the information I needed for accessing the property and there was a very attractive binder which provided a lot of information about the cottage and the surrounding areas. I think my only recommendation would be to have some sort of covering for the double doors. As a solo female traveller, I like to be able to close everything up so that no one can see inside the place I am staying . It would feel much cosier too . I would definitely recommend the property to my family and friends. Also, the floors were cold, as another guest had stated in their review. Bring slippers !

We had a great stay. The accommodations were spotless. Alison has a great attention to detail. The feeling of home. Beautifully appointed kitchen. A place of relaxation. Felt like home. Peaceful yard enjoyed sitting outside reading on the patio. The house was spotless. Alison and René were perfect hosts!

We always love to come and stay here for a few days even though we only live 90 mins away - it feels like you are somewhere else. For our needs this place lives up to everything and we truly value the serenity and location that Melissa's place gives us - thank you for the stay. Neil and Cordula.
