Haining’s beautiful home is surrounded by nature, cute little towns, and the ocean just minutes away. Although we only stayed for one night, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, welcoming, and even had some board games which we enjoyed. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Really nice place. Clean and spacious. Good location. Only downside was the lack of stove / oven. But close enough to grocery stores and restaurants.

Overall bob's place is a great retreat if your looking for a quiet getaway. Area is nice and peaceful , close to the ferry andwalking distance to stores, pub/restaurant. Home is kept tidy and stocked with everything you need. Bob is prompt at answering any questions you may have. Would recommend for anyone looking to vacation on texada.

Raquel & Michaels home was the perfect place to help me transition during my move from Nova Scotia to BC! I stayed with them for 30 days while I was waiting for my rental to become available and I was made to feel “at home”. They provided very clear instructions for check in. The key pad made it easy to come and go. The place was clean & tidy, just like the pictures! Anytime I had a question, they were very quick to respond within minutes. They even brought me down a bottle of homemade cider which was a lovely treat! The location is only a few minute drive into the town of Courtenay so it was convenient to all necessities. My favourite feature though was that I could walk down the road 5 minutes to the seaside, where I saw the most incredible sunrises on multiple mornings before heading to work. Royston is the perfect place to feel at peace & if you enjoy good coffee/fresh baked goods, Royston Roasting was an awesome spot just a 4 minute walk away!! I’d stay here again in a heartbeat

Our stay at Daryle’s place was just so lovely. We had just an immaculate well thought out accommodation. We couldn’t have wanted anything better.

a spectacular place - and really well equipped with absolutely everything you need. it was a bit difficult to get to aa we had to haul our stuff up in a toboggan but it was all part of the adventure. i wish we could have stayed longer just to enjoy Carley's house. i would book it again in a heartbeat.

Very clean and spacious Air BNB in a great location. Huge kitchen and bedrooms, great wide open design in the living room. Would book a second time for sure if I was returning to the area. Walking distance to downtown where all food and amenities you might need are.

Such a lovely and peaceful home with a beautiful story behind it. The house has a special feeling — like it’s full of memories and warmth. Everything was clean and cozy, and Nicole was a thoughtful and kind host. We felt really connected to the place and would happily stay again!

The place was peaceful and beautiful. The amenities were amazing the pool was heated so even when the sun went down it was still very comfortable. The outside patio area was super spacious and lots of activities you can do out there. The rooms were all very clean and comfortable it felt like a home not just another Airbnb. Could not have asked for a better stay! Andrew and April were very responsive when we had questions and was able to walk us through any questions we had quickly. 10/10 will stay again!

We absolutely loved it here, big house perfect for family gatherings with kids. The garden is beautiful, you can tell how much love and effort this family has put into creating this amazing space. Outdoor amenities were the best part of it, plenty of things to do and games to play for the little ones who enjoyed seeing the bunnies and deers grazing in the yard. Anna and her family were super friendly and kind, helpful and responsive, and to me that makes a huge difference. The kind of people you want to rent from. I would recommend this place to anybody, specially families, it wont disappoint.

Bettina was great- She gave us personalized tips about the area. She brought us an extra mattress for us at the last minute request. Helped us carry things in. Kind and responsive. The pool was fantastic but not gated from the deck - For child safety supervision was a must when near the pool. I loved the covered areas and chez lounges provided and a hammock off the master bedroom on a private deck- lovely.

A large place with a lovely patio area with a great hot tub. Fences for the pets and lots of thoughtful items such as games, new toiletry items in case you forgot something, etc. Lovely. The main road is pretty quiet, and the back yard feels very private. Thank you so much for a fabulous launching place to visit family from. And what a lovely greeting upon arrival. Would recommend!

The photos do not do this place justice. It was one of the best AirBnb that we have stayed in. We felt right at home - peaceful surroundings, cozy interior, and unhurried pace. The yurt and the farm was such an experience that our stay became a highlight of our West Coast trip. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. We were gifted their farm chicken eggs and their neighbour even gifted us some garlic scapes from their garden. You gotta try getting fresh clams or oysters from Fanny Bay Oyster Seafood Shop on your way to Courtenay. I was able to cook a delicious Vongole in the yurt. Sabrina was able to recommend a good steak to grill on the Traeger from the Butcher's Block in town. The kids loved the playground, the bunk bed, and the farm animals. I think my 3 year/old found his very first BFF - Lenny the brown cat. He cannot stop talking about him. Aside from their farm animals, we were joined by a deer and a black bear (from a distance) - what a pleasant sight!

We had an incredible stay at Andrew and Jane’s! The apartment was spacious, clean, and so comfortable—plenty of room to spread out and relax. The beds were cozy, the shower had excellent pressure and stayed hot, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout. Their welcome basket of treats was such a lovely surprise, and having a washer and dryer made a big difference. The kitchen and bathroom were not only well-stocked with essentials but also included thoughtful extras you don’t often find in other Airbnbs. It’s clear that Andrew and Jane truly care about their guests’ experience. The location was perfect too—close to beautiful hikes and the ocean, making it an ideal spot for some much-needed R&R. Highly recommended!

Noah was extremely nice and easy going! He also has a beautiful cat that I hung out with quite a bit!

We had a lovely, quiet and peaceful stay. The place was clean and had everything we needed. The shower products were lovely. The farm setting was perfect for us and we slept so well. Our little dog was immediately relaxed and right at home too. I enjoyed hearing the rooster in the morning (it wasn’t too loud, just right) and visiting the chickens/goats. Thanks for a great stay!

This was a repeat stay for us at the Lofthouse. Once again, we found it spotlessly clean and well-supplied. Lily and Ben are very responsive, and the location of the Lofthouse is very convenient for walking or riding anywhere in the area. We’ll be back!

A beautiful private location that makes you feel like you are resident. House has everything that’s needed. Very spacious for our family.

Was a great stay. Smooth and easy communication. Place was perfect for us. Well thought out supplies. Beautiful views. Definitely a 5 star experience for us. We will definitely be back there again soon
