Family-friendly holiday rentals in Concord

We have not used AirBnB many times, but this one stands out as the best experience yet! What a lovely, clean, tidy, quaint, attractive, simple, elegant, and comfortable lakeside property this is. We enjoyed cooking meals, grilling, soaking in the hot tub, sunset cocktails on the dock. Planning to return in the future for another stay!

Not enough good things to say about my stay here! Location was excellent, house was nice, beds comfy, host responsive and helpful. Don’t over think the complaints about noise, it’s not bad at all and to be expected when you’re 5 minutes from a major city. Plenty of driveway but it’s a little narrow for larger vehicles, that being said there’s also off street parking right out front. Loved the place!

I love the surrounding areas and how peaceful the environment was

The house was great and the beds were very comfortable. The backyard was peaceful, especially at night with the lights and the hot tub. We had our adult sons with us and we could not hear them moving around and watching TV while we were sleeping, the house is sound proof! I did have to sweep off the back patio furniture when we arrived, it didn't look like that had been done in a while, or it might have just been from a storm - no big deal, the broom was easy to find. The house is older, with a nice mid-century modern vibe - very cozy. I would stay there again.

Perfect and Convenient Location I had an amazing experience staying at this AirBnB! The place was exactly as described. It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, from a well-equipped kitchen to a soft, inviting bed. I am live nearby but rented this airbnb for my daughter’s HS graduation party. Private backyard size with a pool, perfect for the occasion. The location was incredibly convenient – close to great restaurants, shops, and public transportation, yet peaceful and quiet at night. It was the perfect spot for exploring the area. The host, Marshall was excellent from the beginning, super responsive and helpful, making the check-in and check-out process a breeze. Their thoughtful touches, like local recommendations and little amenities, truly made me feel at home. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area, and I look forward to staying here again on my next trip!

A group of my friends and I stayed here for a weekend. I am from the area originally and the location cannot be beat. It a gorgeous lakefront property and we rented a boat/captain for dinner on Friday to take us down the river to a waterfront restaurant. We heated the pool but ended up using the hot tub instead. The furnishings and house itself are not new or “modern” but it looked exactly as described/and in the photos, and the house is even bigger overall. For the price, this was a great deal. We spent our time hanging out in the kitchen which had enormous windows looking outside, and on the deck, and it was super comfortable for all 11 of us there. Robert was incredibly communicative and always available to answer questions. We wished we could move in! I’d definitely stay there again. Great for large groups.

Whether you want to relaxi or fish, this is the perfect place for you. Me, my husband, and our 3 dogs love this place and as always, we will return again

My family was in Charlotte for a sad event and Mikes home was not only very comfortable but had lots of areas of the home we could individually escape to and be alone with our thoughts. We spent 5 nights and went for walks, watched our 2 pups play in the yard and enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen and the cozy dining room for meals. The bedrooms were all nicely decorated and beds and pillows super comfortable. Our trip was unexpected and we hadn’t packed enough clothing. It was super helpful being able to wash and dry our clothes. Mikes appliances were so nice it was a reminder I would love to replace my washer and dryer! My immediate and extended family visit Charlotte often. I am so grateful to have found this gem of a house. No doubt we will be back often. Oh and I must suggest a fabulous place to have dinner if you like seafood and sushi….New Zealand Cafe. Quaint, delicious and extremely affordable. Took an Uber in order to indulge in adult beverages!

A Hidden Gem in SouthPark! Our stay at this charming basement apartment in SouthPark was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the thoughtful touches, stylish decor, and overall comfort the space provided. It truly felt like a private retreat tucked away in one of Charlotte’s most beautiful and walkable neighborhoods. The apartment was immaculately clean, spacious, and luxurious. The furnishings were high-end and tastefully chosen, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the modern bathroom felt spa-like. We also appreciated the well-equipped kitchenette, cozy living area, and beautifully crafted covered patio — perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Location-wise, you really can't beat it. Great location. Laura is a great communicator and I should have paid more attention about the parking, but she handled it and I greatly appreciated it.

We rented this first floor condo unit for two weeks to be near our son and his family after the birth of their baby. It was perfectly located. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware. It was clean and comfortable. The pool is a quick walk away and quite nice. There are close restaurants and stores. Lake Norman is a very short drive away, and there are lovely greenways easily accessible for walks. There is some noise from people walking upstairs at times, but it’s not excessive and to be expected in a first floor unit. It made a comfortable and affordable “home away from home” during our stay.

My family and I loved our stay at Erin's place. The house was nice and had a big fenced in backyard which was great for our dog. Erin was very responsive and gave clear instructions for check-in and check-out. The area is great and just a few minutes down the street from downtown Matthews. I highly recommend Erin's home to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area!

Very private, safe, and quiet. Could barely hear a thunderstorm which was great as our dog is scared. Rachel's communication is on point. She was very responsive and very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay! The unit had anything you could possibly need. Was great not having to run to the store to get this or that as they already had everything available. Very clean!

We loved staying at Laurie’s home and had an incredible weekend. The space was perfect for our 20-person baby shower and the home was a cozy place to relax before and after. I was a little concerned if the A/C would be sufficient in an older home, but it worked great along with the updated appliances. You are about 12 minutes from town but feel like you’re miles away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This property is the perfect place to make special memories with loved ones and we hope to stay here again someday!
