Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Connecticut

This is our first visit to Hartford and we very much enjoyed all the city had to offer. This place was close to the river, the Bushnell Theater, the Wadsworth museum and some good restaurants.

Over the past 5 years, I’ve stayed at multiple Airbnb’s not only in Bridgeport, but in other states as well, and Nestor without a doubt had the BEST AirBnB I’ve had the pleasure of staying at. He went above and beyond, nothing felt cheap or thrown in for the sake of having, while also giving us quite literally everything you might need for a stay. He made an AirBnB feel like a home and that in itself is enough for me to highly recommend this stay. He personally walked us through the apartment, accommodated for our needs, and even then left more in the AirBnB than was even listed. At the price listed, I’ll save you the trouble of continuing your search, this is a MUST book if you enjoy peace of mind. A special thanks to Nestor for making my week long stay, feel like I never left home.

Cozy and unassuming, Gina makes you feel at home. Fresh, homemade continental breakfasts were great! It is pet friendly, but ours stayed home. We wouldn’t hesitate to bring them next time. Nice fenced yard. We were in town for a graduation at Q Law. The unit is just a few minutes drive to downtown Wallingford and the Q campuses.

Very quaint typical New England home. We absolutely loved it and will be returning on a regular basis next year as it’s very convenient for us with our daughter at the local boarding school. Clean, tidy, free of clutter and very comfy. Good delivery service available from local restaurants if you don’t feel like going out. We were exhausted after packing up our daughters dorm room and just wanted to stay in. It felt like a home away from home .

Allison has a beautiful and updated home. Love that the fact that she has TV’s in every room hooked up to streaming devices. I also love the fact that she had left a gift basket of snacks including water and wine Allison also left signs for the WiFi code and so much more I didn’t mention. My family and I had a great and comfortable stay. I would definitely book Allison home again. Best, Sharon

The house was immaculate and exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed the well -equipped kitchen and even included flour, spices and sauces. Top quality everywhere. We hiked in the adjacent state park and enjoyed that immensely. The game room was fun with billiards and pinball as well as other games. Alexa activated all the lights on voice command. Hosts met us when we arrived and walked us through the house. We hope to return each year.

Flavia was a great host, very responsive. It was a beautiful house and location. The house was beautifully decorated, filled with lots nice conveniences, extra toiletries and show supplies. Loved having a large capacity washer and dryer. The attic space was nicely done and cool with the AC system. She paid great attention to the lighting fixtures and little details. Plenty of towels and soft blankets. Distance is great, and walnut beach is very close (walking distance, 0.9 miles) with lots of little shops and a great ice cream place halfway there. Boardwalk was a little farther on the other end of walnut beach. The front porch was nice and big for sitting at night. The grassy area is big and a 4 car drive way. Everyone had plenty of space for sleeping (7 ppl). Low tide is the best time for the beach, otherwise head to walnut at any time. The couches and tvs looked brand new, Roku in master and family room. Two full showers was a big plus. Thanks for a great stay!

Our host was great! We enjoyed our stay and the home was beautiful and so cozy as described! We will definitely consider staying again in the future when in town!

Our stay at Michelle's home in Greenwich, CT was wonderful. Everything was as described but most importantly the hosts were so responsive, never more than 20 min to answer us. Check-in was easy, directions were precise and the guidebook was very helpful. She even informed us of the upcoming Memorial Day parade time and place! We loved the charming home and there was room and beds enough for 9 people. The proximity to restaurants, shopping and transportation to NYC was perfect. The home was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. If in the area, we would definitely rent this Airbnb again!

We came as a group of friends with a baby to stay at Blake and Tracy's house, and we had a great stay. They were very communicative and accommodated all our requests to ensure our stay was excellent. They asked in advance if it would be okay for their child to stay in his room inside the house, and we agreed. We didn’t see him at all during our stay, and it didn’t disturb us in the slightest. The fact that Blake and Tracy live right next door was convenient, as they were readily available for anything we needed, but we never felt their presence. We will definitely come back!

The lakehouse was beautiful! Shana and her partner kept in touch with. any. questions we had. Perfect location to mystic and the casinos - we can't wait to come back :)

This home was everything my family and I could ask for. Immaculate, cozy, and spacious. The game room was a big hit for the kids, the yard and patio area were perfect for our family to gather and relax while the kids had plenty of space to play. The location was perfect, right near the heart of mystic. Ben was an amazing host and went the extra mile to make sure his home had anything we could possibly think of needing throughout our stay. My family and I can't wait to book with Ben at the Oar house again in the near future!
