Holiday rentals with lake access in Cook County

Our party was comprised of 5 adults. We had enough space to spread out and relax between events. The kitchen was very clean and there were snacks and beverages which was very nice. The deck off the kitchen was lovely. There was a welcome binder with lots of information about the neighborhood. The location was well situated; the neighborhood was quiet and very pretty to walk around in. We were able to walk to a restaurant for breakfast each day. My sons walked to Wrigley Field for a Cubs game. The only drawback for me were the stairs which were hard on me as I have a bad ankle. All said, I would highly recommend this listing to others, Robert and Sue were available and were great hosts.

Craig was very responsive both before our booking and upon our arrival. The place was beautiful and spotless; it looked and felt like a hotel but was also very homey. We enjoyed the lovely place and the town and the convenience of getting to local areas and going to Chicago. The house came with nice supplies in the bathrooms and nice quality linens, kitchen cookware, etc. The ping pong table was a nice addition. Definitely will stay again.

The house was beautiful! We had such a nice stay and we love the area. The house was clean and so nice. Especially love the fenced in yard for kids.

Words can’t describe how beautiful and clean the property and neighborhood is! The house is very spacious and modern. The basement is new, has a big room and bathroom with shower. The masters bedroom has a living room and GORGEOUS bathroom! The host provided cleaning supplies and even personal bathroom supplies for men and woman. The host was very nice and friendly 🥰 We had an incident with our previous AIRBNB and we had to rent this one last minute- The host responded at 1am letting us checked in at 1am. If you plan on staying here, please take care of it lol It’s such a lovely house! 100% Recommend!

Lin’s Place is gorgeous. If you love being surrounded by beautiful vintage, well cared for wood floors, trim and built ins, this I your place. Convenient to Wrigley Field and Lincoln Park, this place is the one. I loved the back deck and garden on a great tree lined street. Thank you Lin and we look forward to our next trip to Chicago.

We had a most wonderful stay at Kayode's apartment which was very clean and matched all the descriptions in the listing and it was perfectly located for our purpose which was to be close to Hyde Park. Kayode was the perfect host and was extremely responsive and even when had a minor issue, he responded within minutes and had the issue resolved within the hour. Highly recommend Kayode as a host if you need an apartment in the Hyde Park area

We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated how responsive and accommodating Stephanie was! The view is beautiful and the surrounding area was great. Being right above a coffee shop was also extremely convenient.

From booking to check out Wendy and Matt communicated with me every step of the way. Very responsive, helpful, and friendly. The Airbnb is just as described and is absolutely beautiful, but also comfortable and homey. They have thought of everything. My husband and I both had to work some and the desk set up with extra large monitors was the best surprise! The location is perfect-walkable to some really fun restaurants. We went to Happy Camper, Small Cheval, and Mr. Gyros. The red line is right around the corner and we felt very safe walking the neighborhood after dark. You will meet many people on the street with friendly dogs :) The ability to park our car off the street was also one of the best perks of this place! Our family couldn’t have picked a better place to spend our time in Chicago. Thank you Matt and Wendy!

Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The place itself is very large and plenty of space. The apartment was very clean and the location was perfect. You are walking distance to anything you could need. Can’t recommend enough!

I've stayed at many Airbnbs, and this is among the best. Kenan describes it as minimal, but it has everything you need. I've rarely stayed somewhere where I didn't at least have to provide my own of something, and I appreciate Kenan for his attention to the basic needs we all have when traveling. I used to live in this neighborhood, and it was great to be right back. If you're a tourist wondering if you should stay so far from downtown, you're better off experiencing real Chicago from a real (and awesome) neighborhood next to a beach and steps from the express bus to downtown.

I had a fantasic stay at this Airbnb! The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making our visit smooth from start to finish. We also loved and appreciated the attention to detail of having all the essentials for a perfect stay. The location was great and close to where we wanted to go, but still quiet and peaceful. This cottage was absolutely perfect and beautiful for our annual friends trip. The host was responsive and extremely accommodating. The backyard patio seating and hot tub was a relaxing and private escape. We thoroughly enjoyed the nearby beach, trails, and attractions and always felt safe walking around. This place is a great getaway. If your looking for a place in Miller Beach area and want to see copious amounts of varying wildlife just hanging around then this spot is just what your looking for. The host Blake is very responsive and respectful. I stayed for over a week with my dog and he didn’t want to leave. You won’t either.

Patrick’s place is a rare find. Extraordinary Airbnb! It’s the most thoughtfully supplied kitchen. We enjoyed cooking brunch looking out on the park trails. We were lucky with perfect weather, which added to the loveliness. I know the area, to me the location is perfect…especially if you like long pretty walks. We had a fantastic stay! Super close to the Lake, which is just what we wanted. House looked exactly as pictured. Most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Overall, a great experience.

We loved getting to stay here. The proximity to the beach is a simple walk and it is lovely to be so close. My daughter loved the nearby park as well and it was also within waking distance of the cottage. There were many thoughtful details in the space and it was so nice to arrive to the muffins and treats from our host. We will stay again if we ever get the chance.
