The condo was well stocked with items necessary for a rental. It is convenient to many areas of interest and it provides a lot of amenities. Pool, sauna, hot tub, pool table, ping pong, and areas outdoors for sitting or exploring. Owner was very quick to respond to messages. Great place with plenty of sleeping areas. Owner also provided ideas for dining and for things to do. Highly recommend!

Not reflecting on the owners of the unit but the door leading to the deck was below our room. The door thudded loudly when it was open and closed.

We loved our stay here. The view of Lake Superior was amazing! Loved that it had a pool and hot tub, plus had a game room with pool table, ping pong and darts. Also had a nice common area with couches, chairs, tables. Detailed instructions on arrival and how to get in. Thank you!!

We visit the North Shore every year and this was our first time on the beach, though rocky, of Superior. And boy were we right in the beach. Gorgeous views, sounds and smells. We were there right after a storm and the host was very proactive about a fallen tree and communicated right away. The house is clean, private and warm. We were there in a cold weather snap! We got to bring our pup too and it felt just like home. The water situation takes some getting used to, but ultimately is the same as going for a swim. So we all do it. The views and privacy are well worth. We will be back next year!

I have stayed in some incredible Airbnb’s, but this may be one of the most stunning homes and locations yet. Set on a beautiful private cove hovering over Lake Superior you cannot go wrong. The home was more than spacious and comfortable with incredible amenities! If you find a way to take your eyes off the lake through the wall of glass the cabin has everything you could possibly need! The kitchen is full stocked with every appliance or tool you could want, the bathrooms we exceptionally clean with small to-go items you may have forgotten and of course the sauna was a hit! I have stayed in many beautiful locations on the north shore but this takes the cake and I will forever look to try and book this again in the future when traveling in northern Minnesota!

This was our second time at Deidra’s Tofte home, and if possible - it was even more magical than our first time. Not only is she an amazing host - we basically planned our itinerary around all her wonderful recommendations - but this house is just a gem on the north shore. Well stocked, better than photos, and pristine views of the lake each day. We’ll be back again and again 😊

This house is in Hovland on the North Shore (relatively close to the Canadian border), and the view from the house of Lake Superior is breathtaking. You can just sit there and enjoy it. The home is well-equipped, with a lovely wood-burning fireplace (it made an especially lovely aroma in the house). We also liked the charming river bordering the property, it's literally a small river going through which gives more feelings of wilderness. Easy access to Grand Marais, Lutsen, and Grand Portage, and also to abundant hiking trails, which we really enjoyed.

Carrie was a great host! She was easy to communicate with and very kind! Her home was also even more beautiful than the pictures, if that’s even possible. As a large group we had plenty of space, and her home was stocked to meet our needs.

Very beautiful and comfortable place and setting. Near to Grand Marais but removed from the city. Plenty of room for the 6 of us. Kitchen was well equipped. Host had recommendations that were helpful. We explored East and West from Grand Marias so it was a good location for us. We were all pleased and would stay again. Worth the 8 hour drive. Thank you. We had a wonderful stay at the condo. We enjoyed the steps that go down to the rocks by the lake. Very dog friendly condo. Fire pit in the backyard overlooking the lake was a hit.

We felt so welcome and at home for our week stay. Beautiful views and the pool/hot tub/sauna/game room is always great for our family! We had an amazing time and will be back!

Beautiful condo for our family vacation! The sunroom is a gorgeous addition, and falling asleep and waking up to the waves crashing on the rocks was so peaceful. The bottle of wine left for us was a nice surprise, and the working fireplace was extra cozy at night when the temperatures dipped.

We felt right at home in this lovely apartment. The location was perfect for walking anywhere in Grand Marais and a comfortable place to rest and recharge after hiking. The view of the harbor is beautiful. I didn’t want to leave. The unit is sunny and bright we hardly needed to use any lights until the sun went down. In fact the unit has so much natural light you may want to bring a sleep mask if you want to sleep in. Thank you Linda for providing such a perfect spot. We hope to return someday soon.

My wife and I stayed at the condo with our little 1 year old and two of our friends. The moment we walked in we felt right at home. The space was relaxing and peaceful, and the views of Lake Superior and the surrounding nature were just amazing. There was plenty of space for the five of us. We all enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well! Plenty of wonderful local restaurants and things to do. Would definitely book again in the future without any hesitation!

This was a great place for our family, right on the lake. We were close to lots of parks and hiking trails. Quick drive to restaurants and shops. There was plenty of space and the indoor pool was a great spot for our kids.

Wonderful stay for a long weekend. Vienna was quick to respond to any questions and the location was spectacular.
