Monthly Rentals in Coon Valley

This cabin getaway just outside of La Crosse was exactly what I was looking for—secluded, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful woods. The setting felt like something out of a storybook, with nature trails, birdsong, and total quiet at night. It was the perfect escape from the busyness of everyday life. The cabin itself was clean, cozy, and well-equipped, with thoughtful touches throughout. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I’d highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat in nature!

The cabin was great. Feels safe because there are neighbors but there are trees to block the view so you still get your privacy and you’re not out nowhere by yourself. I love the views from the cabin!

Enjoyed our stay. We visited quite a few Amish businesses and their produce auction. The beds were comfortable and the birds were amazing. Loved sitting on the porch in the morning listening to the birds. Also had a doe and fawn come walking right by. We had almost perfect weather so were able to have the windows open. Nice hot shower and plenty of space. I preferred the outhouse over the incinerator toilet but that was just my preference. We did have rain one morning and couldn't cook outside. A hot plate or electric griddle would be a great addition. Other than that the stay was great. We would definitely stay again. Check in was easy and a nice note with local suggestions was so nice. We did travel to Fennimore and I would recommend the train museum if you are looking for things to do.

I had a most enjoyable stay at the Scandia House Studio Apt.. Extremely clean, cozy, comfortable.. great place just to rest, relax and just let the world drift by for a few days in the wonderful Norwegian Heritage of Westby Wi. I find myself looking forward to my next stay at my new “home away from home” I HIGHLY recommend Garrick and Kassie’s Westby Scandia House to anyone looking for an intimate, cozy and comfortable place to stay.. In particular, I loved the spiral staircase to the large loft bedroom.. or maybe the SO comfortable wall hugging recliners ..or maybe the clean and well furnished bathroom.. or … user friendly kitchen.. or everything else???
