Nature cocoons you and you can reach out and touch the trees, see wildlife all around you amongst the pines. With breathtaking views through the tress and across the valley you are completely private having no other accommodation on the site making this a truly unique and special experience. A great effort has gone into creating this space to allow you to simply relax and reset in nature.

Copley cottage has been sympathetically renovated to highlight the gorgeous features it has to offer. Providing the perfect setting to relax with the whole family. A 2 bedroom cottage situated in the historical village of Copley, County Durham, bordering on the Pennines. Our cottage is located above a water well which stems from the river Gaunless, the most northerly Viking named river. Our landscape shows historical traces of mining dating back to medieval times and can be seen just outside.

Downstairs is a large bathroom (bath & walk in power shower). Upstairs two large bedrooms with reading chairs.

Low Green Barn, located in Tranquil Teesdale

Low Green Barn is a converted barn, attached to our family home and located in the middle of the village of Mickleton. Before booking, please bear in mind we offer limited cooking facilities, with no oven or grill. We can provide you with local recommendations for eating out. Driveway parking is shared with owners and can accommodate one guest vehicle. Owners Tessa and Dave live in the adjoining main farmhouse and are available via text/in person if needed.

Plenty of wildlife for nature lovers including a flock of friendly rare breed sheep, hens, rabbits, and owls.
