Maldon - perfectly located beach town cottage

Maldon is one of Wallaroo's old lime stone & granite cottages. A privately owned cottage so centerally located you can leave your car and walk to almost everything & has just undergone a total revitalization right through out in refeashing and family friendly decor. The back yard bosts has an awesome Alfrasco BBQ area nestled amongst the old stone fence and paved with old red bricks where you can comfortably seat 10 secluded in the large fully lawned surrounds. Many extras at no extra cost.

Cottage in Moonta Mines

A quaint and crooked Cornish cottage

This is a cottage we bought in October 2020. We had many holidays cancelled through COVID and decided instead to explore our own backyard. We arrived in Moonta, fell instantly in love with its history and beautiful beaches and on spec bought this little cottage with our hearts instead of our heads! We loved that it was situated within an old cornish mining village and that the beach was just 5 minutes drive away. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN SHEETS, PILLOW CASES, TOWELS AND BATH MATS, THANK YOU.

Olive on Otago is a renovated rustic two bedroom shack in a premium location with beautiful ocean views. The front porch provides a place to dwell, relax and enjoy the beach vibe. If you feel like a dip in the ocean with the sand between your toes, walk across the road and take the plunge. Original floorboards, loads of character with beautiful textiles. Large one bedroom unit, set on it's own block of land. Located in a quieter part of Moonta Bay. You are a couple of minutes drive to the shops of Moonta and the historical Moonta Mines. A couple of minutes drive to the Moonta Bay beach and jetty, which includes a free water park for kids to play at the foreshore. 5 minute drive to Pt Hughes boat ramp. There is plenty of off street parking and room for children to ride bikes safely away from the road. Small dogs are permitted outside.

North Beach Getaway

The house accomodated our party of six very comfortably. The kids enjoyed the Nintendo Switch and table tennis. Adults appreciated the separate living spaces when needed. The neighbourhood was very peaceful. Plenty of space to park more than one vehichle if planning a stay with friends or family. Very clear instructions left in the house. We felt welcome and looked after.

We enjoyed our stay at Memea By The Sea. They house is we presented and magnificently renovated. A couple of extra coffee pods would have be handy. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic and our little fella loved the big bath. Would we stay again…most likely.

We had a wonderful stay at Michelle's place...just such a beautiful place inside and out and felt so relaxing... something I don't experience a lot haha! Very roomy and we had the best time and loved how close we were to the beach and the splash park. Would highly recommend using this place if you want to experience Moonta Bay.

What can I say, just amazing. Phillippa was absolutely lovely. The place was very clean and it just felt so homely and cosy. The washing machine broke down and she even replaced it with a new one! Such great service and fast communication. Thank you for such being such a fantastic host. No doubt we will book again.

We loved our stay here!! Beautiful views down North Beach and a very quiet spot. A short walk down the dunes to the beach! We enjoyed a daily beach walk down to North Beach Kitchen for coffee and our kids loved the SUP board! House felt homely and spacious. Bedrooms upstairs and living downstairs worked well. Master bed mattress is very firm but my husband quite liked it. Kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed to self cater. Would recommend and hope to stay again in the future.
