No ‘open house’ parties allowed but a perfect place for special occasions and gatherings for our house guests and mature hen parties are welcome.

We fully renovated this cosy, two bedroom cottage to create a warm, welcoming space where the only sounds you’ll hear are the tweeting of birds and crackle of the newly fitted wood burning stove. The cottage has a king, a twin room and a sofa bed in the lounge so is flexible with accommodating various set ups. The location is just about as good as it gets. It’s a 10 min walk along the stunning River Frome into Wareham and a stone’s throw from all major tourist attractions on the Purbecks.

The historic villages of Corfe Castle, Worth Matravers and Kingston are within walking distance of around 30/45 minutes, with lovely pubs at the end!

Sleeping areas are open plan but have thick curtains that can be drawn to create a private and cosy space. The hut is cosy, well equipped and perfectly suited for a rural retreat, however please don't forget you are staying in a Shepherds hut and not a luxury apartment - there is no WIFI nor a TV!
