Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Cork

We have been using AirBnB for more than 10 years and Catherine’s beautiful bungalow stands head and shoulders above every other one in which we have stayed. When you look at the photos, it’s normally the case that a clever photographer has managed to disguise some of the less attractive parts. With Catherine’s place, it’s quite the opposite. The photos do indeed show the seclusion and beauty of the location and give the viewer an idea of what facilities they are going to find inside the property. What the photos can’t reflect is the first class quality of the finish throughout. The two shower rooms with facilities you would expect find in a 5 star hotel. The kitchen, breakfast bar and dining areas all finished with beautiful marble surfaces providing an ambience of sophistication yet practicability. The top of the range Sony surround sound system in the relaxation area only goes to confirm that Catherine has spared no expense to provide her guests with an unforgettable stay.

Martin and Bridgette were excellent hosts. 3 things we look for are cleanliness, comfort and quiet. We got these in abundance. The view from the house was stunning and seeing all the deer in the garden was very special. Good base for touring the penninsulas with great food in town. If you are looking for a more relaxing alternative to the typical Ring of Kerry package tour then consider booking this cottage. This cottage has a beautiful location, a helpful host and friendly dogs and cats. It’s an easy drive from Killarney and the gap of Dunloe, great walking trails abound, and the space is just perfect if you are looking for a relaxing cottage getaway. I definitely plan on rebooking here if I am ever again in southwest ireland.

The absolute best two nights of our two week trip! A charming little cottage set near all the sights we planned on seeing in Killarney! In the two months from the point of booking until our stay, I had forgotten what I had booked. As we drove the nearby hills and countryside, I commented that a cottage with a fireplace would be perfect and that is exactly what we got! It was clean, inviting, and relaxing! The fireplace was so peaceful after hiking. The cottage cat, Oreo, was adorable! We were too happy to have him visit us in the evenings and mornings for a snack and a rest with us in front of the fire. He loves flopping wherever for pets. Hearing the dairy cows come in for milking on our last morning added to the experience. John, the host, left some of their yogurt and milk for us in the fridge! It was delicious! The best creamiest yogurt I've had! Truly an amazing stay! If we ever visit again, we will most definitely book with Helen's Cottage again!

We stayed 3 nights in June 2025 with 4 adults. The property and surroundings are amazing. Peaceful countryside setting but with modern amenities. We very much enjoyed the outdoor sitting area and small gas BBQ during the long summer evenings. Marie was friendly and always responsive, even with simple problems (like how to lock the front door). The kitchen was large and well equipped with capsule coffee machine and a nice view of the MacGillycuddy's Reeks. The bedrooms were comfortable with very nice comforters. There was a pellet stove in the living room that we didn't use - as well as TV and WiFi. Bathrooms were modern. Killarney is about a 20-25 minute drive, and Marie provides a list of local restaurants. We instead grilled steaks and enjoyed the views. A great place for the views and easy access to Dunloe Gap / Ring of Kerry / Dingle. A great alternative to staying in Killarney / Kenmare / Tralee.

This was our second time staying at Brigit’s and this time we made sure the whole family came along with Jim our dog. The most beautiful and magical place that we all enjoyed so much. We will be back again!

What a beautifully decorated and lovely place this was, and what a view! The house exceeded our expectations and looked even better than the photos on Airbnb. The five of us enjoyed our visit and enjoyed the amenities, including L'Occitane toiletries provided! The place was within walking distance to Kinsale's main town with easy access to supermarkets, independent local stores and cafes/restaurants. Communication with Michael was great and he provided a useful handbook of details on how to check in, the local area, etc.

A fantastic peaceful place to rest when we went to a friend's wedding in Dungarven. Spotlessly clean, well equipped and everything you need, plus Mary and Jim were so kind and welcoming. A lovely place to stay in a beautiful part of Ireland!

Wonderful little studio apartment to stay in if you're in the area. Close to some lovely places and stocked with everything you need to live well. Sam and his family were incredibly friendly as well, always offering their support.

Just spent 4 nights at Tessa's place, but could have spent lots more. Very nicely decorated, clean and comfortable, with all the facilities needed, including a washer and dryer. Not far into Kenmare, probably walkable for most people (maybe 20-30 minutes. ) The Beara peninsula is lovely, and Derreen Gardens is definitely worth a visit. Plenty of places to visit at no great distance (Kilarney, Sneem, Whitestrand Bay etc.)

We had an enjoyable one night stay, great accommodation for visiting the area. Well equipped for a short break, very comfortable.

Lovey quiet place. Very spacious. Angela and her husband were very welcoming. Between the cereals, the bread and the milk, breakfast is basically included.

Clean, cute, and cozy! This was an ideal spot for a great starting point into the Ring of Kerry. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

We opted to stay out of the bustle of Dublin for the peaceful vistas of Fethard and Selina ‘s AirBnB. So glad we did. Parking by the door. Phew! Well appointed kitchen/dining looking out onto lawn and flowered garden. Ample bedroom and closet space. Hot shower. An attentive host who, although called away for family health reasons, wrote a personalised card with important info for our arrival. She joined us later. A modern, comfortable AirBnB hosted by really nice people. This is a good one.

William and Joanne were exceptional hosts and their home a great place to stay, clean, comfortable and with everything we could need. It was perfect for Inch Strand, which we went to most days. Dingle and Killarney were also easy to get to, including the stunning Slea Head drive. William was also great for recommending where to get a nice pint! I know that we will be heading back to Kerry in the future and Grouse Lodge will definitely be the first place we try and book. Thanks William and Joanne!

A “must” to stay at! Julie was the ultimate host! Any request was not an issue for her. The place was spotlessly clean, with easy to use amenities. It looked lovely and it felt lovely! We did not want for anything! It was an easy 30 minute stroll to the town centre too. Highly recommended!

A cosy but spacious little nest surrounded by gorgeous scenery The location is absolutely fantastic as it is so close to the town center of Killarney, the entrance to the ring of Kerry and an hour away from Dingle, which was our next stop Mike and Sinead were the most amazing hosts as they provided us with lots of information and recommendations Highly recommend

Siobhan and Steve welcomed us as soon as we arrived, they were so friendly and warm and we were made to feel so comfortable right from the get go. their property is just amazing, it is private and Siobhan had a book in our cabin that gave us so many things to do. I have never stayed at a place that gives you so many choices. We were there for only 2 nights but if we had the opportunity we would have stayed longer. We can not fault anything about our stay, it was just awesome. Thank you.

Absolutely loved our stay here! Very accessible to all the pubs and food Killarney has to offer (less than 5 min walk) and was on a quiet street. Parking was very easy with a huge lot right next to the entrance of the apartment complex. You do have to pay to park between 8:30-18:30, but it was fairly cheap. Instructions to get inside were very clear, and the manual had step by step instructions for all amenities (including how to heat water for a shower). This place came with everything we needed including a fan for at night! Would absolutely recommend this place!!!

What can we say . We got there very late on the Friday night well it was after midnight night . Where we were meet by a very pleasant host . Showed us around where we were staying . Very clean and warm even give us some milk for a cuppa. The places is set in a beautiful setting .

This is a rural splendour. Private, secluded and relaxing. All the amenities and so much more, highly recommend.
