Lie in the bed and wake up to the view out over our park like grounds in Kikowhakarere Bay, our Lithuanian Pods are an affordable option. This is for a standard version with a built in double bed (not ideal for TALL people!) You have your own balcony to relax in the sun, and listen to the native birds around our Holiday park. Only a short stroll to Shelly Beach from your deck where you can swim at high tide or at low tide do the Kauri Tree walk. Then see the amazing sunsets
“I was a bit skeptical about the place it seemed too good to be true, but I must admit I was awed by the glamping pod that I stayed at. It's cozy (definitely recommend it to couples or individuals like who wanted a quick getaway) , well serviced, and the perfect location. There's a private beach right by the park and even in this July winter the water was definitely warm enough to swim in. I can only imagine how amazingit is in Summer. I mostly definitely recommend.”
Unique compact cabin attached to the main cabin in a stunning environment, capturing spectacular harbour views. Located 2km from Coromandel Township; swimming, fishing, bush walks, art and craft, and local cuisine. Relax, unwind and enjoy our sunsets! #waikitecabin
“Cute and comfortable cabin located close to Coromandel town with wonderful views. Viv was an extremely hospitable host and made our stay the perfect getaway. The cabin has every amenity imaginable including heat pump, electric blankets, sky tv, breakfast, coffee/plunger, tea and more. Thanks Viv, you have a wonderfully unique place there and we appreciated all the little touches. We will be back.”
Located 400 metres from world famous Driving Creek Railway. This unique self-contained accommodation is something a little different which offers peace and tranquility in a private bush setting with an outdoor shower and toilet. Back to the future.
“We were after an experience in the bush with a vegetable garden and chickens and that’s what we got. This is a quirky cottage with fascinating and interesting finishes- using recycled and repurposed windows and doors and wood. Absolutely appropriately and charmingly furnished . Very snug and warm with a lovely open fireplace. Be warned the toilet is a long drop outside but it’s spotlessly clean like the rest of the cottage . There is also an open outdoor shower- only for the brave in the Winter but would be lovely in the Summer. You can buy breakfast from Mark for $10 a person which is good value. Mark makes his own bread and sells it locally and it’s easily one of the best tasting home made breads I’ve tasted and I make my own bread too. Mark is friendly and helpful . If you want an experience set in beautiful bush which is authentically Coromandel, then this is great and really fair value in my view. Thanks Mark”
