The old village school

The old school/schoolmaster's house is on the edge of a tiny village where there's no shop, no café, so you’ll need a car. It's very rural here, with views across the gently undulating countryside from the school. Two small towns with supermarkets - La Machine and Cercy-la-Tour, are both about 11 kilometres away. Decize, a much larger town on the Loire, is about 18 km away. There are two double bedrooms, and another small one with a triple-layer bunk bed suitable for children.

Very nice apartment on the 2nd floor of a 19th century bourgeois house, in the heart of a century-old park, recommended by Le Petit Futé. An enchanted enclave in the heart of the city, less than a 5-minute walk to the train station and tourist center. The 2 bedrooms, very spacious, each have a 160 x 200 bed and a desk. A large sofa offers the 5th bed. A fully equipped kitchen, open to the living room, offers an ideal living space to enjoy a hearty breakfast.

On the premises, there is a sauna that can be booked per half day for 17.50 pp incl. towel and bathrobe. The wood-fired hot tub is also available for rent for 17.50 pp. Both can be rented for 27.50 pp. From the hot tub, you can admire the stars through the dark nights in the Morvan.

Towels are not provided located 30 minutes from LE PAL amusement park located 25 minutes from the Bal de l'Europe in Génétique located 12 km from Decize with its nautical stadium and all shops located 25 km from Moulins-sur-Allier

Cottage by the water and horses

On a private property of more than 3 ha, including our house and a small stable, the 35 m2 cottage is directly on the edge of a 700 m2 body of water and can accommodate up to 4 people. It consists of a shower room, an equipped kitchen, a living room, a bedroom with a queen size bed and a mezzanine with two 90 beds. You will have a huge garden area by the water and a wood stove for cooler evenings.

A wonderful stay at Château de Paraize: staying in the French countryside with beautiful views of the horses in the fields. The river Allier is within walking distance, enjoy beautiful nature, old towns, wine estates, markets with good food or flea markets. Or bbq with us at Paraize itself, participate in a wine tasting in the old wine cellar by candlelight, or just enjoy the campfire.

Ideally located next to the Costume Museum (CNCS), close to shops, a few minutes' walk to the city center and historic district and 25 km to the Le Pal amusement park. Easy and free parking. Come and relax in a nice 70 m2 bright apartment, 2 bedrooms, shower room, large living room with open kitchen and balcony on the edge of the Nivernais Canal and close to the Morvan. Close to shops, water sports stadium, swimming pool, mini-golf, cinema and canoe kayak club. Access to the accommodation will be from the canal side and not from the main street.
