the photos of the cottage do not do it justice absolutely beautiful in every way, the views are amazing Ann and Pete are brilliant in communicating very helpful. People in the village are very friendly and the pubs are just a stroll away would highly recommend this property and look forward to returning. Andy/Christine and friends

The photos don't do justice to the beautiful cottage and the lovely views from both the living room as well as the bedroom. The place offered lots of privacy with well kept garden around the cottage for our use. It comes with all amenities as exactly as described and was a perfect place to be away to unwind and be with the nature. The other big benefit is that it is located centrally to most of the attractions or places of interest within the Cotswolds area. So you can venture to any of those areas and be back to rest and relax at this beautiful place. We really enjoyed our stay there and would highly recommend this place if you are planning to visit Cotswolds area.

Quiet, secluded, peaceful surroundings, spacious & comfortable accommodations. Can see why the Hen House consistently ranks as a top choice & A-bnb favorite. The Hen House has certainly become our favorite. Nicki & Johnny are fabulous hosts, considerate of guests' comfort & privacy. We were able to enjoy the meadow, long walks along the country roads, some fun table tennis, & quiet reading under the shade trees. A favorite time of day was having breakfast at the patio table just outside the door to the hen house, save a day or two, we had great weather for it. Wifi is excellent. Neil works remotely & never had a dropped conference call. There's plenty of games & DVDs for the rainy days; & the house is equipped with all the tools you'll need to keep it clean/tidy. I only wish I knew how to play the piano. I would have played a few tunes. If you enjoy birding, you'll love the birdsong & the birds that visit the garden, glorious. Truly a wonderful place to stay, enjoy & relax. Gracias!

We were looking to experience life in the country side. And David's cottage provided us with exactly that. Away from the city and nestled in the peaceful village of Coberley, we loved everything about the house, the garden and the hosts. David and Tish were very warm and charming hosts. They provided recommendations, were very welcoming and helpful in every way. Our children loved them too. We had a lovely stay and have brought back beautiful memories with us

Sophia is a great host and the cottage is absolutely perfect. Felt like home in a fairyland. Very quiet and peaceful. Everything is accessible via car. Location is pretty secluded but google maps takes you right to the gate. Inside was very clean, most importantly linen was fresh and clean. Kitchen is well equipped. Host also kept full bottle of milk and orange juice! I have not seen such hospitality anywhere else. Cottage is big and exactly as described in listing. Very comfortable to sit around in living room. There were clear instructions on how to use heater if needed. There is also portable heater if desired. Shower is little tricky and sorta weird given the house structure. It is not a standup shower. You have to sit in tub and “bath” using handle. If you are over 5’10” may find it little tough to navigate. Although, there are clear instructions on how to use it and ton of amenities in the bathroom. Shower itself is very good. I would most definitely recommend this place!

Great location as a base to tour the Cotswolds. The annexe is well appointed, comfortable and in a quiet location. It was nice to be able to sit outside, soak up the sunshine and watch the chickens and horses! Amanda was very helpful.

We loved our stay and would love to return later on in the year. Our little dogs also loved the place and gave it 5 stars too 😊🎉

This was a perfect stay for my mum and myself in an area we love and visit regularly. Everything was so easy…parking right outside, immaculate accessible bathroom, welcome snacks and the most stunning views. We were happy to sit outside on the swing seat and enjoy the countryside and the peace of nature. Right on the doorstep though there is a vineyard, garden centre, walks and cycling opportunities. This was a really positive experience and can’t wait to visit again. Thanks so much to Karen for her hard work and kindness.

We had a wonderful time at the Stone Barn! Nicky and Mark provided a beautiful home away from home that couldn’t have been better. It’s so peaceful and the views are amazing. The place was clean (beware if you’re not a fan of spiders though as there are a decent amount in corners, bathroom, etc due to the countryside location I’m sure) and they even gave us a lovely welcome package with local food items. They were responsive and made sure we had everything we need. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to call home in the Cotswolds area. We were within 1-1.5 hrs drive of all the major sightseeing places which was perfect.

Sandra and her husband made us feel most welcome, as did their sweet dog and cat. Sandra had left some home made shortbread for us, along with some other treats in the fridge. The Annexe has a breathtaking view across the valley, Winchcombe and its church. The description in the listing was excellent and our three nights there were just perfect for us. We were attending a happy few days celebrating the Ruby wedding anniversary of close friends. The walk into Winchcombe is very pleasant and Winchcombe itself is a charming market town. We would love to return.

It’s a great location for kids as they have a very nice field right in front of the house. House is kept top notch with very clean bed sheets.

We stayed here for 4 nights after getting married. Penny had surprised us by decorating the downstairs with congratulations banner, prosecco and glasses and a balloon and card, also the welcome pack was very lovely. There was a manual to help operate the tv, and all appliances and it also listed places to visit. This property was everything we were looking for and more, the place was lovely and quiet and peaceful and we really felt relaxed and comfortable but it was also easy to drive to local towns and amenities to see the sights, we ate in some lovely local restaurants. We were left alone to do our own thing but both Penny and Simon contacted us on a few occasions to let us know they were available if we needed anything or wanted any help with anything. What more can I say, we had a beautiful stay in a lovely clean and well looked after property and had a good rest, hopefully we will be back one day 🥰

Had a lovely couple of days at Hlolly Barn. It’s a beautiful property in a gorgeous spot. The weather was fantastic which made everything even better. It’s really very easy to explore some superb walks and trails across the common and downs. Brockhampton Estate is well worth a visit too. Sarah is very friendly and it’s great to know she is next door without being intrusive. Loved it!

We had a wonderful stay in Bledington and Laura was a very friendly and responsive host. She even welcomed us with some milk which I found very thoughtful. The home was comfortable, quiet and a great location for exploring the Cotswolds. I really enjoyed the shower and having laundry available and the baby items and toys were SO convenient for our 15 month old. The bedding and towels felt high quality, but I must note the pillows were very flat and the bed hard. Overall, still a great stay that I recommend to other small families and couples.

Absolutely wonderful stay! Amanda was an exceptional host—warm, supportive, and incredibly thoughtful, even offering to pick me up from the train station. I was greeted with an amazing hamper filled with treats and essentials, a perfect welcome. The thatched cottage itself is stunning—spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and full of character. Nestled in a quiet, secluded rural spot, it still manages to be just a stone’s throw from Swindon’s best attractions, making it the ideal balance of peaceful retreat and convenience. The kitchen is gorgeous, and the enclosed back area is a hidden gem—totally private and tranquil, complete with a teepee that added a lovely, unique touch. Great WiFi and full streaming services made relaxing in the evenings a breeze. This was a fantastic stay that gave me exactly what I needed: rest, comfort, and a few days of proper sleep in a beautiful setting. Thank you, Amanda, for everything 🥰

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with freshly baked bread and a thoughtful basket of goodies — such a personal and generous touch. The space itself was beautiful, cozy, and spotless, with every detail carefully considered. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was our hostess. She was incredibly kind and welcoming — warm, helpful, and genuinely caring. It’s clear she puts her heart into making her guests feel completely at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to return. Highly, highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Piggery for our 'mini-moon'. The accommodation had everything we needed and was a great space. We loved the outdoor area that we had and the stunning views. Miranda was a great host, and even left us fresh homemade bread and prosecco for us to celebrate! Highly recommend and is a real hidden gem on the outskirts of the Cotswolds.

This gorgeous barn has been renovated to an extremely high standard. Stunning open ground floor with ginormous banqueting table which dominates the room and two double bedrooms. The only minor downside of this outstanding property is there is only one WC and shower room. Everything is beautifully appointed. There is a private outside terrace with pretty planting and ‘soft seating’ as well as a round picnic table. Located in a busy and popular village literally minutes from the M40 and a 10 minutes walk to the famous Raymond Blanc Le Manoir aux Quatre Saisons. Highly recommended as a property to consider if you are touring the Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire area or walking the Chiltern Way. Huge choice of extremely good pubs. Host is extremely responsive, happy to make local recommendations and sent clear and precise instructions.

We had a wonderful stay at Amanda and Richard’s Airbnb! The location was absolutely beautiful and incredibly peaceful — the perfect escape. From the moment we arrived we felt warmly welcomed, especially with the lovely hamper and bottle of champagne. It was such a thoughtful touch that made the stay feel extra special. Amanda was a fantastic host — friendly, attentive, and clearly takes great pride in making sure her guests have the best experience. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway! Have been staying here for 5 years…currently petitioning Mark to build a family house so I can bring the kids : ) I really believe this type of host and property will save Airbnb. Nobody i know really uses Airbnb anymore because it’s too expensive and poorly run around the world. Hotels provide so much more value than Airbnb…unless you compare them to Mark’s properties. This is how it should be done⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a great stay with Vicky who was attentive but gave space. The breakfast items were good and plenty of choice of beverages. The lodge was a little further into the rural setting than we imagined but that was actually a bonus for us. Very beautiful views. Plenty of info on local bits & bobs.

Had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. Amazing views! Very well appointed accommodation. Richard and Diana made us very welcome. Would certainly stay here again.
