Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in County Galway

Had a great stay on Inishmeain as always. Martin is a lovely man who will look after you while you explore this beautiful island.

Chris & Orla were warm and welcoming. Their home was beautifully restored, and they had great taste in decor and art. We loved visiting with their friendly dogs: Bird & Pete. Breakfast was so delicious, and fueled us for our adventures. The place was easy to find and nice and quiet. The location was a short easy drive from Galway City. We truly enjoyed our stay, and hope to return some day!

This does exactly what it says on the tin plus a little more. Breakfast was really good, with a nice fruit medley thrown in. Immediately across the road from the house is a car-free running/cycleway that leads for about 2 miles in towards the town of Clifden. For a runner like me that really set this place apart cos running with cars on Irish country roads is scary otherwise.

Maureen and her husband were the perfect host, the house and the services were lovely, I really enjoyed everything and especially the breakfast that was delicious and full of options!

We really enjoyed our stay and Desmond was so friendly in the morning, giving us some inspirations on what to do during the day. Very lovely hosts and an amazing breakfast. We recommend it!

Staying at Nora’s place and meeting her and Kitty was one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland. The most friendly and accommodating of hosts, the two of them went out of their way to make us feel at home. To add to that, they are located just minutes from all the sites in the city center while still retaining a sense of peace and privacy. We’ll remember our visit for a long time. Do yourself a favor and book with them if you’re lucky enough to be passing through beautiful Galway. I promise you won’t regret it!

We had a fantastic stay in Pam’s! We were lucky our room was available early to check-in, although early bag drop was available if not. The room was comfortable and clean with everything you could need for a stay including tea, coffees, and toiletries! The location is ideal overlooking the sea, less than 10 min walk to Galway city and a lovely 20 min stroll to Salthill promenade. The breakfast and friendly hospitality was the cherry on top with fresh scones, bread, jams and full Irish/French toast, we were spoiled! We were really happy with our stay, couldn’t recommend it enough!

Staying with Mark and Tom in their gorgeous historic home was such a delight. We were looking for something outside of the city after a busy few days in Dublin, and this country side home was perfection. Just 30 minutes from Galway for a fabulous night out, or a lovely garden and sitting room with a fireplace if you want to order in for a cozy night. We spent our days driving the Connemara coast and even did a day trip to the Isle of Inishmore. Mark was such a lovely host, offering us fab conversation and wine upon our arrival, and truly restaurant quality food for our breakfast everyday. We loved it!

Outstanding old mansion on a back country setting. It has the feel of the Irish countryside of 100 years ago. Our room was very luxurious, large and well appointed. The views out of the windows is spectacular. Breakfast was delicious and the service attentive.

We had a great stay in Letterfrack for 2 nights .Our host Dennis is a very nice person, sharing info about the surroundings, interested in other people. The house, and bedroom are wonderful with a private bathroom, also very tasteful decorated. Is very quiet, In the morning a nice breakfast is served. Its a great place to discover Connemara. The bedroom with 2 single beds and small private bathroom is well located for visiting Connemara. 2 good places to dine 5 minutes' drive away. Breakfast is hearty and served with a superb view. Christine's warm welcome and recommendations are very much appreciated. . Access is easy and you can park your car on site. Will be back without hesitation

Brendan and Beatrice were lovely hosts! We felt right at home. Communication was great, and the location was nice and close to the city centre (via car or bus!)

We had a great time at Ronnie’s house. The apartment was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and Ronnie was a very pleasant host. We would be happy to stay with him again!

Very lovely people. Clean, great breakfast (experienced the opposite in Dublin). Had a nice room, with bathroom. Always provided information if we asked anything. Nearby dining options, hammer pub very close. Live music every day. We will be happy to come back.

We were welcomed by Anne's daughter and Paula was very friendly, helpful & welcoming! The area is quiet and friendly, the house is very cozy and private and we had super wonderful breakfast! Ann and Paula both were offering the best service, were very proactive and were looking up for us, if we needed anything. We'd recommend this house and would come back another time. Very quiet but close to Cong. Great breakfast! Couldn’t ask for a better selection. Comfortable bedroom. Christina was a perfect host.

Sokha and Kevin are gracious hosts with a lovely homely place. Everything was excellently communicated and my wife and I are were very happy with the stay. Also this is one of the few gems who still offer breakfast as part of the Bed and Breakfast reservation. There was a continental breakfast offered with lovely fresh fruits, cereals and bread with teas and coffees Kevin also offers his own photographs for purchase we got one and he took the yime to sign it which was wonderful. Would definitely stay again

We had a lovely stay at Noel’s B&B. Very responsive host with great recommendations in the area of things to do and places to eat. His home was very clean and was a set up well for privacy. He made a lovely breakfast for us every morning of our stay. His dog Lucy was very friendly and loved having her hang out with us during breakfast. Thanks again for hosting us and will stay again when we return to Ireland! Would highly recommend booking your stay here!!

What a cute little quaint air bnb in a beautiful location outside of Galway! Theresa was amazing and over the top helpful to us in a pinch with something and we could not have been more grateful! We did not read the description fully and thought we had a kitchen/living room but it was actually a common shared space. Theresa was very kind and willing to help us! It was a nice change of pace from our other hotels we’ve stayed in on our trip!

Great place to stay a short drive from city of Galway but felt like a small coastal village

A fantastic guesthouse on inis mór beautifully designed. Wonderful hosts with local knowledge and recommendations. We couldn't fault a thing about Port Aran. Every single detail has been looked after. Thank you Kevin and Sokha for a wonderful weekend
