Kid-friendly holiday rentals in County Wicklow

We stayed two nights at Natalie’s cottage and it was so relaxing and peaceful. The cottage was pristine, and had everything we could need. It is in a great location to various sights and hikes. Natalie is a great host!

Had a wonderful few days staying here. House is lovely and really peaceful and comfortable. We hired a car and so were able to get to loads of really amazing spots but also enjoyed walking around the local area and down to the lake. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing stay! Our original Airbnb cancelled last minute which was stressful but once we arrived to this cottage we felt at home. Lovely recommendations were given to us and we enjoyed out stay. The wifi is good if you have to work remotely.

Too the Shore is luxurious, quiet, elegant, and relaxing. We enjoyed the beautiful kitchen, patio, and balcony overlooking the ocean. From Susan’s house, you can walk to restaurants, shops, the beach, a Cliff Walk path, and the train station. Susan checked in with us just to make sure we were comfortable. What a wonderful family trip we had!

A remote and peaceful getaway.

Gianpaolo's place was the perfect basecamp for our exploration of Wicklow National Park and the town of Wicklow. The neighborhood was nice and their home was super comfortable and clean. The view of the ocean from the balcony and back bedrooms was an added bonus. Our hosts had great suggestions for food and local activities and were great communicators. I would definitely like to return in the future if I get back in the Wicklow area.

The little cottage was very clean and comfortable and in a good location for exploring Wicklow. We really appreciated that John had lit the fire and provided pastries and a jar of Irish marmalade for our arrival! Our only minor complaint was that the kitchen wasn't well equipped with cooking utensils. Great for breakfasts, but not so much for evening meals - however we managed alright.

This was a lovely place to stay in Co Wicklow! The home was very clean and relaxing and Marnie had some great restaurant recommendations we really enjoyed.

Thank you for a very comfortable stay and a wonderfully welcoming apartment, lacking nothing. The situation is very peaceful with a local public house which was open when we arrived but the village shop was closed. The only place to have a meal was at a hotel a few miles down the road. This was not a problem - just to flag for future reference.

What a lovely hostess. The simplicity of the place is so refreshing. Leah is the precious salt of the earth human being. No pretenses...just a beautiful, hard working individual who is deeply thankful for her place in life and is patiently doing her best to improve what she has , everyday. A privilege to stay here and an even greater privilege to meet this young lady. The presence of the donkeys simply made my day. The bleating of goats was so refreshing. The view of the hills and the valleys from the donkey gate is a reminder of what is really important in life. If you want to slow life down, rethink your path , this is a quiet place to do that. This little cottage is a haven to stay in, so clean and comfortable and Carmella is a wonderful helpful host. Staying here made our first trip to Wicklow a very memorable one, would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.

The Coach House was a great place to stay. It was exactly as described. Sally was responsive and took care of everything we needed! The grounds are lovely and the cottage is beautiful. I can't say enough good things about Sally. She is a pleasant hostess and takes great care of the cottage and her guests.

Angela was very quick responding to any questions that I had. The location was perfect. Just a 2 minute walk to the DART and the waterfront with loads of bars and restaurants Checking in was a breeze. The studio was clean and comfortable. I would definitely return.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Bru Eala. What a beautiful peaceful place. The scenery is out of this world, overlooking the lake and hills. Yvonne is a wonderful host,so welcoming, kind and considerate,she goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect for her guests. The accommodation is fabulous, bright and spacious, spotlessly clean, the bed is so comfortable for a great night's sleep, the view of the lake from the bedroom with the sun shining on it was heavenly to wake up to. We would highly recommend Bru Eala Blessington for a wonderful get away from the daily routine, 10 out of 10 all round from us !, definitely a place we would love to return to.

An extremely comfortable, clean and well appointed apartment next to the harbour and within easy walking distance of the town centre. Parking onsite is right next to the building. Great communication from the hosts. Recommended for a stay in Greystones!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and quiet place right in front of the lake. The view was stunning and the surroundings were incredibly peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The home was very comfortable. I especially enjoyed sitting by the lake in the mornings and watching the sunset in the evenings. The host was friendly and responsive, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene escape.

Really loved staying at Conchita’s place. It’s really close to some great hikes in the Wicklow Mountains, which is a top reason for choosing this place. Also, the quiet and beautiful surroundings were perfect for winding down at the end of a day of exploring. Thank you!

We both had a wonderful stay in Blessington as was a perfect location for us to travel to see family in Wicklow & west of lreland. Accommodation was exactly what we needed. Cathy & Riaan were perfect hosts & were on hand to meet our needs with a great welcome breakfast & fresh eggs to tie us over before our trip to supervalue shops to stock up for local amenities in Blessington main street-nearby. recommend ‘West Wicklow house’ pub for food & good atmosphere. Will definitely hope to return

The place was lovely and peaceful, very easy to access and so comfortable. Iryna was amazing at communicating and even brought us some milk in the morning for our coffee. She has done an amazing job at keeping the place so pristine and clean!

The cottage is in a superb location with beautiful views along the coastal path as you walk down to Greystones harbour 15 minutes away, alternatively you can take the path along the cliff top that leads the other way to Bray. Simon and his lovely wife, greeted us warmly and the cottage was spotlessly clean, spacious and well equipped, it was a great place to stay in and just as described - charming! Nestled between the Irish Sea and the Wicklow mountains (look out for the Great Sugar Loaf), we found Greystones an ideal base with lots of nice places to eat and drink, Chakra, Happy Pear and The Beach House amongst our favourites, and there are many things to see and do in this wonderful part of Ireland, on foot or in the car, there are also good transport links, including rail with trains on the half hour. We absolutely loved our stay in Simon's cottage and had a fantastic holiday at Greystones!
