Alps Mountains. Italy. Aosta Valley. A cabin in a small village at 1600 meters,in the peace of meadows, grazing cows and mountains. Snow (usually) in the winter. A place of the heart, lovingly restored preserving the ancient beams of the roof. A wonderful view from the large windows and a special tranquility for those in search of peace, warmth and relaxation. The furniture is very nice: wood above all, but also more lively colors, and modern comforts. Quiet excursions, both on snowshoes or ski.

Si trova a 12 Km da Aosta e all'imbocco della suggestiva vallata di Saint-Barthélemy, che offre numerose possibilità agli amanti della montagna, sia in estate, per l'abbondanza di itinerari e passeggiate, sia in inverno, con le sue piste di sci di fondo; la vallata ospita il santuario di Cunéy, dedicato alla Madonna delle Nevi. L'alloggio è arredato in stile di montagna con alcuni mobili antichi della tradizione rurale valdostana. E'costituito da due ambienti, un'ampia e luminosa cucina e un'accogliente camera con bagno. Gli spazi hanno pareti rivestite in legno di larice di cui si può apprezzare il calore ed il profumo.

"La Casa dell 'Arco" takes its name from the entrance arch, a typical element of the architecture of Frassinetto, which characterizes this historic house. Its oldest core dates back to the 13th – 14th century. The unit is made up of three rooms with attention to detail to rediscover the warm atmosphere of the alpine houses. The living room with a sofa/bed and fireplace precedes the kitchen and to complete a beautiful room with shower and a comfortable and equipped bathroom.

Si tratta di una porzione di fabbricato che fa parte di un complesso completamente ristrutturato e, come per le altre unità abitative, la ristrutturazione è avvenuta mantenendo il più possibile lo stile e i materiali originali, compatibilmente con le necessità abitative moderne.
