Caroline and Ed are exceptional hosts are their property is a perfect base for exploring the Yorkshire dales. Their communication was great and there was lots of tips on where is best to visit during your stay. Will definitely be back and the property was the perfect size for our party of 8 people. 5 star!

lovely stone annexe to Penny's house, in the pretty village of Carperby which is on a minor road so only local traffic. Very well appointed, all neat and clean. Penny is a great hostess and I really enjoyed my stay there. Thoroughly recommend.

Great cottage with perfect space for our stay. The ‘grown up’ kids loved it! It was ideal for exploring the local area including a beautiful walk from the door of the cottage to Aysgarth falls. The cottage had everything we needed, fab relaxing space in the living room, enough space for everyone. Spotlessly clean, including the bathrooms. Towels and linen lovely quality. Homely feel and great kitchen for all eating together. Probably not enough characters to list everything we liked. No-one wanted to leave to come home, we could definitely have stayed longer and would return again in the future. Thanks for all of the information and a lovely place to spend 4 nights away :-)
