Monthly Rentals in Cowshill

We stayed at Bruce and Anita’s beautiful cottage and from start to finish their communication was excellent.. on arrival Anita had baked some beautiful whole meal bread and had bought us a lovely chocolate cake , and we were welcomed by lovely music on the Alexa .. Archie our Airedale terrier also loved the treats they left for him . The cottage was enchanting , pristine a beautiful enclosed garden for Archie and had everything we needed for our 3 day stay .. the views were breathtaking and it was so peaceful , quiet and the village and river were within walking distance. Hubby is a keen birdwatcher and enjoyed the conversation with Anita about all the birds within the location and was impressed they had 7 swift bird boxes .. Anita , Bruce and their beautiful dogs ( 3 rough collies) cottage comes highly recommended and we hope to revisit soon x Thankyou

Lovely barn conversion in a fabulous rural location with great views and walks from. the door. Enjoyed talking to the alpacas and saw hares, barn owls and curlews across the fields. Ideal spot for exploring Weardale and Upper Teesdale.

We have just come back from a lovely weekend away here! The bunkhouse was a great little spot with amazing views to drink your morning coffee! The little extras were a nice surprise like the dog treat and fresh free range eggs, Sarah even got us a tasty little bun ☺️ The beds were super comfy and a fun setup, it was like having a family slumber party lol! The views and trails right outside the front door were second to none! We wouldn’t definitely recommend staying here and will most definitely be booking again! Thanks again Sarah! Xx

The house was very homely and set in such beautiful surroundings. The views over the wide valley are awesome and the shear expanse of sky is something to behold, especially on a clear night. The host, Andrew, was very responsive and helpful. He made himself available and we caught him on our way out on check out (we were late leaving) and had a nice chat. Our stay was two adults and a 2 year old and there was plenty of space for us and the 2 year old. The front garden was a great little place to run around and there was a little play area a couple of minutes walk down in the village. There isn't a dishwasher, that was made clear in the listing, but it wasn't missed because the sink is right in front of the kitchen window which has an incredible view. Overall our stay was very relaxing and we had a lovely time.
