A big draw is the locally renowned Tayvallich Inn famous for its excellent menu featuring lots of local produce.

Situated near to the village of Crinan and the Crinan canal, our 3 Cottages were converted from a former barn and are perfect for nature lovers, walkers, cyclists and just getting away from it all. The Middle Barn is our largest cottage, with a kitchen / dining room, living room, and 2 bedrooms and bathroom on the first floor. The living room has a woodburning stove. There is a large garden with pond. Outside seating and bbq provided. Red squirrels and pine martins can sometimes be seen.

Enjoy peaceful walks along the river bank, Crinan canal and beach overlooking the isles of Jura and Scarba and the infamous Corryvreachan whirl pool. Explore the ancient site of Dunadd fort and visit Kilmartin Museum.

The Bothy Suite by Temple Wood

The Bothy Suite is in the 'hidden village' of Slockavullin , delightfully rural but only 1 mile from the village of Kilmartin with Pub, museum and cafe. Temple Wood and the standing stones are in walking distance with the Crinan Canal a short drive or cycle. The guest accommodation does have a seperate entrance and the whole of the ground floor is for guest use with 2 double bedrooms and modern bathroom consisting of double width shower, sink and toilet. Breakfast is continental.
