Holiday rentals with a kayak in Crosslake

Wonderful place on the Whitefish chain with fantastic views. Christina is an accommodating and responsive host. House is well equipped and comfortable. Outdoor area is spacious. I am a repeat visitor and highly recommend this place.

The view the view the view!! We enjoyed the amazing sunsets, large grass area to play outdoors, skipping rocks down on the rock beach, and especially having a private fire pit on the patio was fantastic!!! The furniture was very comfortable to watch movies on the large tv. The fully stocked kitchen made it easy to make meals and gather around the large table sharing stories and playing several of the board games. Ellie was very quick to response to any question we had. The pool was closed during our stay, but we definitely would have used it. We rented a pontoon and had a blast with that too! We'd rent here again :)

Absolutely loved our stay at Dream Island! The finished garage was awesome and the heated floors in lower level bathroom were amazing with the cold weather during our stay. The layout of the house was unique and provided nice-sized common areas complimented with good separation of very spacious bedrooms for privacy. There were a few minor things that didn't work or were damaged but they didn't impact the quality of our stay whatsoever. Other than those few minor items (which the owner/broken said were planned to be fixed), everything was clean and well taken care of.

Absolutely loved this lakeside home. Saw so much wildlife (beavers, loons, caught lots of fish, and more!). Neighbors were kind and respectful. This area of the lake is tucked off to the side, maintaining a lot of privacy from boaters and other homes. We loved the sunsets and bonfires. The proximity to a large town with lots to do/shop made it easy to get whatever we’d need. Really cannot recommend this place enough as a downtown couple who wanted a peaceful, clean, homey lake getaway. We’ve already decided this will be our go to destination for cabin getaways moving forward!!!!

Had a great stay here in Brainerd! About 15 minutes away from the main city, but a very nice and private spot. Hot tub was a nice amenity! Awesome lake view (came in March so didn’t get to enjoy it fully but in warmer seasons-gorg!) I liked the open concept, was easy to hangout as a group. Kitchen had everything we needed! Larry was responsive, highly recommend!

We all had a wonderful time, it was peaceful, relaxing, family friendly and felt like home! We would definitely rent this place again in the summer time! What a beautiful home and view! Thank you for having us as your guests! Lovely experience!

Wonderful place for a base camp for our group as we spent some time golfing over the extended weekend. Had everything we needed!

Beautiful lake and beach! The cabin was very clean, we had use of their kayaks and also a child size kayak that my 4 year old grandson tried out! They also had a canoe, fire pit, chairs and lounge chairs. They even had the fire pit all set up for a fire for us and pulled out a child size chair when they heard we had a 4 year old with us! Sue and Brian were super nice and very welcoming. The cabin deck is attached to their house deck but they have a privacy gate you can pull out if interested but we never felt we needed it. We loved their place so much and we are hoping to come stay again next year!

We had a wonderful weekend at this beautiful cabin! Would highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a great weekend on the lake! It has everything needed to feel right at home. It is so peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommended!

We showed up to Jody's place Friday evening. We were celebrating my daughters birthday and I could not have asked for a better place to do it. We showed up and everything was immaculate. There was coffee available, snacks. My daughters could not stop taking pictures of the place. It was surprisingly larger than what we thought. There was a new gas fireplace that made everything feel even more cozy while we played cards and hung out. Jody made for a very memorable weekend for us, and I wish I could give it more than five stars. Thanks Jody!

Great place to stay. It’s exactly what you see in the photos. The home is very spacious, gives the cabin vibe, it’s peaceful, the lake is crystal clear (would be a blast in the summer months), wild life is active and beautiful to watch, and it has friendly and responsive hosts. Thanks for everything!

We enjoyed our stay at Emily‘s place, communication with Emily was very good. Check in information was customized for us, clear and concise. Beautifully clear lake access. The accommodations were large enough to house five siblings and their spouses. It’s just what we were looking for at a reasonable price. I would not hesitate to book with Emily at this lake home again.

I felt the place was even better than I had expected. The photos don’t do it justice the home was incredibly well furnished, well stocked, and the most beautiful view and sunsets. When I meanwhile stocked, I mean there was Advil and blankets, towels, toys, books and more. It was one of the best Airbnb‘s in terms of stocking the house that I’ve been to. The barn was fabulous, every game you could think of and such a nice edition. My only Takeaway that could be negative was I had a very hard time working the air conditioning, it was on some sort of schedule that didn’t activate until 10 PM but luckily we were traveling in May and with the windows open. It was very cool and pleasant. I would love to host a family reunion here because it just seems like such a wonderful place to stay with family and although I only went with my immediate family I could see it being a very fun place to host a reunion of sorts.

Gorgeous place in a gorgeous setting and the host is the best in the business.

This cabin is beautiful on a pristine setting with gorgeous lake views, even in the winter it was gorgeous in the pines. It was very clean and had everything we could have needed for our stay and then some. Carla was a great communicator and very responsive. We would highly recommend this property and look forward to returning!!

The cottage is very cozy and comfortable woth amazing views of the lake. Everything we needed was available to us and Erin and Sreve were qinderful hosts and neighbors' very nice, great communication, thoughtful. Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds. The place is beautiful and we couldnt have asked for more.

This is our second time at this beautiful cabin. Brian and Sandra are great communicators and very responsive. They provided great recommendations for restaurants in the area and the cabin is immaculate. The kitchen has everything you need to grill or cook meals yourself. There is a lot of seating options inside and outside. We rented the pontoon and kayaks along with our stay and spent a lot of time on the lake. Sunset cruises were beautiful. There are a lot of unique personal touches within this cabin- you will love your stay here and we will be returning again. Brian and Sandra are really lovely people.

The location of this house is convenient to all that we needed, restaurants, groceries and a wonderful local car rental business in Nisswa. The setting is very peaceful and relaxing. Deer were in the backyard in early morning. The hosts have clearly considered needs and wants of travelers by providing the little things like throw blankets on the sofa, popcorn, and foil and plastic wrap in the kitchen. We cooked in the kitchen and used the outside grill. All appliances were in good working order. The house was clean and odor free. We will definitely return to this house should we find ourselves in the area again. Allison made it easy to feel comfortable and welcome through her prompt and thoughtful responses to our messages.

Very nice, large cabin home. It’s absolutely beautiful here inside and out. We had our small wedding here and I wouldn’t change a thing. They were so easy to work with, good clear instructions. Everything was easy to figure out. It was well stocked with all the necessary items we could have needed. I would recommend this place for anyone who wants a blast and a peaceful get away.

Second time staying here and it's very comfortable and clean. They have made updates to the home since we were there last. The furniture is comfortable, home is clean, things are labeled and easy to find. The view of the lake is so beautiful! We haven't been there in the summer, but we hope to! We appreciated the little touches of hospitality, for example a handwritten card to welcome us back, "take what you need" toiletries in the bathroom, and treats for us on the counter. We had a hiccup with the door code and messaged Sharon and she replied immediately and got us in. (It was a user error, I'm sure!) Definitely would recommend Camp Hammond! Thank you, Sharon!
