The Koselig Condo

Koselig"(Norwegian) = Cozy (English). Sitting at the base of the Cuchara Mountain Park with hiking, skiing, sledding, and snowshoeing outside the door. La Veta House

Updated, sunny, two bedroom house in beautiful La Veta, Colorado. You are a short two block walk from local shops like Charlies Market, and a 15 minute drive to the town of Cuchara. Large open kitchen and living are with dining table and Roku TV. Master bedroom with King bed, love seat, dresser, closet, smart tv. Master bath with tub. Bedroom two has a full bed with an optional pull out twin trundle. Bathroom two can be accessed by second bedroom or main living space and has a shower.

Baker Creek Cabin

Update: Lift 4 is back—after 25 years, Cuchara Mountain Park has officially reopened this iconic chairlift (weekends only), bringing skiing and riding back to the mountain just minutes from the cabin. Enjoy a cozy, rustic winter escape in Cuchara, Colorado. Our cabin sits among snowy pines with peaceful mountain views and warm wood interiors. It’s the perfect place to unwind by the fire after a day of winter exploring—quiet and full of mountain charm.

River's Bend

Located on the bank of the Cucharas River, the River's Bend ideal mountain retreat is geared for a family vacation, or personal restorative get away. This two beadroom, 3 bath cabin can accomadate up to six guests in the main cabin with use of the luxury cots in the spacious sunroom. With special arrangements, the detatched Sleeping Hut outfitted with queen bed and sleeping loft offers additional beds and the best sleep you will ever experience!

San Isabel National Forest is at the 'back yard', Dike trail is just 0.2 miles away, Spring Creek trail 1.5 miles, Bear lake 9 miles, Monument lake 20 minutes, Cuchara Mountain Park is 5 minute drive away. Artistic La Veta is 11 miles north. Bear lake and monument lakes have camping area for a day camping and/or multiple day camping.
